Daily Battle #13: Leaders Don’t Let things burn | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 859

Recently there has been some turmoil happening in my extended family and there have been a few times I have felt compelled to take a stand for what is right, to be the calming force, to roar when it needed it, to stand at the head of the table. At the end of the day its my responsibility to lead my family away from the fire and not let things burn. I would be out of integrity of who “I am” to stand by and allow it to happen. The distinction that I am grateful to be given in the recent past is I am leader not a savior. How does this relate to running a business? When you run a small business your team is like a small family, your micro movement you are leading, those people are believing in you and following you. And you’ll have instances where the interpersonal interactions, ie conflict, the good times, the bonds will feel like family but its your job as the leader to maintain the culture or even fix the culture.

The Single Best Habit for Success in Your BusinessOne of the single best habits, I started many years to mange the successful in my business was the tracking of daily numbers.  Daily Battle #9: Systems Are The Rule Book of Your Business | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 848

As Entreprenuers we are natural creators, natural builders, natural innovators if we weren't we wouldn't be doing what we are doing. It's why we can't work for anyone...becuase when we see something broken, an opportunity, or anything that will give the business an edge feel complled to create change...and blaze new trails...That's why we need systems, they are the rules of our business, the rules of the game...just like in football.. there are sidelines...endzones...what we can and can't do...The entreprenuer types can see short cuts...the hacks...that have not yet been defined...they want to break the rules...and "think outside of the box"...But we need to have balance and operate by the tried and true rules that have proven results...and that avoid injury...just like the no head to head contact rule in the NFL...its there for the players benefit...because the price to pay is too great... Where do you need to stop breaking the rules? What rule do you need to create to avoid a serious injury?

Daily Battle #8: Figuring Out How to Do it Half Right vs Just Doing it Half Wrong | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 651

Daily Battle #6: Give Fire to Get Fire | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 801

The last couple of days, I have felt a bit out of a groove, I have felt not as on fire as before I left for the Warrior Wealth Confrence and definatily not as on fire as when I was at the confrence. And I journaled these few lines, I was compelled to send my boys a voice message, my wife a voice message, my mom a voice message, and my sisters a voice message.
