How does Prayer Work? This is our introduction to the Prayer Works series. Pastor Justin Miller talks about how to pray and why we pray!
Pastor Rick Bezet, our guest speaker this week, talks about how fear can not only damage our life, but place huge limitations on our relationship with God. The very one we tend to run from when things go wrong in our life is the very one we should have confidence to run to - God.
"I will come back for you." There's more to this life than this life. Jesus promised He's going to return and when He does, He's going to take us to be with Him in a new heaven and new earth. Because of this promise, we can have hope now regardless of our situations or struggles.
God has promised us a place among the believers. There is nothing that can keep us from God; no sin, no shortcoming, nothing except us not accepting His Grace to be a part of His Church (Family).
God promises us peace! How do we impede this promise, how does the lack of peace impact our lives, and what can we do to reach out and grab this promise from God?
How do we deal with temptation? How often do we deal with it? Where does temptation come from? Pastor Matt Sanders covers this and more in this message.
"I Will be with You". This is a promise we all tend to forget about at times, whether in good times or bad. In this lesson, we focus on why it is important to always stay close to God no matter what is going on in our life.
We all need wisdom, and God has promised to provide it. If we seek it, we will find it. Where we seek wisdom matters. How you seek it matters. In this video, we will look at where and how we can pursue wisdom God’s way.
Father's Day Message. Men are wired and created to be providers. As a result, many men allow their identity to get wrapped up in work. This leads them to carry burdens they shouldn't be carrying. When you seek first His kingdom, there is nothing to worry about. When God has your back, He picks up the tab for all your needs. If you lack something, ask Him for it and trust He will provide.
This promise of God focuses on how He makes us new creatures in him, forgetting our past.
God promises "I will forgive you." What does that mean in your life?
In this conclusion of the series, we look into chapter 12 of Ecclesiastes. Solomon indicates to us that all is not meaningless, and that there is a purpose to life: Following God.
Just like diamonds, character and reputation are formed by pressure and polished by friction. In Ecclesiastes chapter 7, Solomon reminds us that we will all go through difficult times. How we handle ourselves during those times will show our character.
Is it possible to be content in a 'never-enough' culture? Are you grateful for what God has given you and where He has you? God wants us to find our contentment in Him, not in the things of this world. Pastor Justin Miller walks us through contentment in this message.
One of the major temptations that we face today is doing life alone. We can easily convince ourselves that we can handle everything we face in life by ourselves. Eventually, however, we will get to a point where we need to rely on others. God didn’t create us to do life alone; He created us to be in community with others.
