What's the value of work? How do we work to honor God? And, what about our family? Pastor Justin Miller deals with these questions and more as we continue our study of Ecclesiastes as part of our series, "What's the Point"?
While wisdom is better than folly, in the end it can’t save you. Worldly wisdom and knowledge can even become a stumbling block for us if we trust in it alone. It’s not WHAT we know, it’s WHO we know that matters: Jesus Christ!
When we make pleasure the point of our lives, we believe the myth that something can give us everything. We look for that something, and when it doesn’t give us everything, we think we need more of it. This is what Ecclesiastes calls “chasing after the wind.” What this book shows us is that instead of pursuing something, we should pursue someone - Jesus.
Deep down, we all want our lives to count for something. Nobody wants to waste their life! How do we decide what matters most? Join us for our introductory message as we begin a study of Ecclesiastes.
Many of us have, or have had, a particular view of what the church really is. When we understand that “the church” isn't a place we go, but rather a family we’re a part of, it changes everything. Each of us has a critical role to play.
As Christians, we have the ability to change someone’s life by sharing what Jesus has done for us. It’s up to us to show others that there is a better way. It’s Jesus, and it’s your story!
Pastor Justin Miller gives us insight into God's provision, managing His resources, and living a God-honoring lifestyle with our money. Highlights from the study include: it's a heart issue; owner vs. manager; freedom from debt; trusting God.
Pastor Justin Miller's focus is on learning the heart of Jesus and how to put His heart into action by identifying and leveraging the gifts God has given to us to serve the church, community, and world.
As Christians, we have a real enemy that is attacking us daily and wants nothing more than for us to believe his lies. Pastor J looks at Ephesians 6 and how we put on the full armor of God to defend and defeat the attacks of the enemy.
Where is God in the midst of the pain and suffering we experience in this world?
How does God speak to us? This week, East Orlando campus pastor Mitch McKinney looks at the many different ways God speaks to us. How DOES He speak to us, and how can we tune in to become better listeners?
During this message in the Rooted Series, we’ll continue to discover how each of us can connect further with God, the church, and our purpose. Today Pastor J takes a look at the question “Who is God?”
As followers of Jesus, we are called to change the world. As a church, we feel this is accomplished by getting “Rooted” in the Word of God, growing as a disciple of Jesus, and blessing others with that with which we have been blessed. But if we are going to fulfill God’s purpose in our lives we must have a growing relationship with Him. This series will help us understand our roots in Jesus so that we can continue our transformation in Him.
