What is on your bucket list? How have you run the race, are you running well? One day we will stand before God to give an account of the race we've run.

We continue to struggle when we are not informed by scripture. God doesn't want us to be on our own, nor live inauthentic lives before one another. God is sufficient, faithful and enduring and He desires a relationship with us.

Our little while may be tough, but in the midst of that while we can have great joy. We discuss how people change, how you can do something with your little while and be the person that God wants you to be, in all the fullness that God intended for you. "7 Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; 8 for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come." 1 Timothy 4:7-8

God has a purpose for you; He has a sovereign plan that is to ransom and redeem a world that is spinning out of control in rebellion against Him. All of this chaos, worry, bitterness, and anger are transitory obstacles that impede us from God. He wants us to live for Him, to be purposeful in perusing Him; to live in a way that we would not be distracted by the things of this world, but find joy through Him.

The Truth sets us free and produces peace, yet the hardest thing to communicate to humans is understanding our necessity for the cross. God provides the power for us to all things through Christ; anything we do that does not draw others to know and glorify Christ is not a spiritual act.

God is about seeking lost and broken people. The image and purpose of Jesus's ministry is to rescue those who are lost. He seeks to save because He loves the lost and desires a relationship with us. "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." Luke 19:10 (ESV)

The world will know us as Christ's disciples by our legitimate love for people and our dedication to assess the real need. We believe that lost people matter to God; therefore, they matter to us. It is through this authenticity that we share Christ's love for people. "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." Luke 19:10

Prayer is an invitation for us to participate in the incredible things God is doing. Colossians 4:2 calls us to "Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving." Colossians 4:2 (ESV) Communication defines our relationships, we are encouraged to continually be diligent in prayer.

We acknowledge our complete dependence on the goodness and grace of God. We have benefited from the kind intention of His will; therefore, we eagerly extend it to others. "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)

God doesn't want nor does He expect the world to love the church as much as He expects the church to love the world. We are here to suffer for and serve the world, not be celebrated by it. "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:16 (ESV)
