We are now at the part in our Spirit series where we specifically talk about different spiritual gifts mentioned in scripture. While we only talk about five of the gifts in Part 8 (the Serving gifts), Pastor Steve categorizes all of the gifts mentioned in the Bible into categories: Serving, Salvation, Spiritual Insight, Strengthening, and Shepherding. Again, in Part 8, we address Serving, which include Artistry/Craftsmanship, Giving, Ministry, Helps, and Hospitality.

In Part 7 of Encounter(ing) God // Spirit, Pastor Rob provides a high-level introduction to the gifts of the Holy Spirit and talks about the purpose of the gifts, the power of the gifts, and the priority of the gifts. In an often-not-talked about subject in pulpits across America, Pastor Steve speaks on the Holy Spirit's role to convict the world of judgment. There are one of two judgments awaiting every single person who has ever been born and it's your choice. The Bema seat of Christ is for Believers and while not for salvation, it is for the generous distribution of rewards for work done for the Kingdom here on earth. The Great White Throne Judgment is for unbelievers and to reveal their works of evil. The good news is that the Holy Spirit tells us these things ahead of time and you can make a decision now!

In Encounter(ing) God // Spirit – Part 5, Pastor Steve speaks on obeying the Spirit's Voice. When you hear the Spirit speak, you have three options: 1) Quench, 2) Grieve, or 3) Obey. When you choose to obey the Spirit's Voice, you can expect Devilish opposition, God's confirmation, and Kingdom expansion.

In Part 4, Pastor Steve teaches on hearing the Spirit's voice. He is always speaking, but the issue is, do we have an ear to hear Him? We dive into the sources of hearing, the sounds of hearing, the setting for hearing, and the safety when hearing.

In Part 3, Pastor Rob speaks on the mission of the Holy Spirit as outlined by Jesus in John 16:7-15. The mission of the Spirit is to convict the world, guide people into all Truth, and reveal Jesus. The Holy Spirit comes into our lives, transforms us, and sends us out empowered to be and do all that God has created us to be and do!

In Part 2 of Encounter(ing) God // Spirit, Pastor Steve continues through the book of Acts making observations and applications that will help us all to encounter the Holy Spirit in a deeper way. The big takeaway is that the Holy Spirit and resulting boldness became the early church's priority and more than ever before, the modern day Church needs the power and boldness that can only come from the Holy Spirit.

In the first message of the Spirit section of Encounter(ing) God, Pastor Steve lays an important and doctrinal foundation of the Person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit shares all of the same characteristics and is equal in every way to the Father and the Son. He must be known and encountered with the same understanding, passion, and dependence. It's time for the Church to get reacquainted with the Person and work of the Holy Spirit, to encounter Him, to be transformed by Him, and to see others transformed through our witness.

With Part 9, we conclude the Son portion of Encounter(ing) God and will start the Spirit next week. Today Pastor Rob unpacks the last of Jesus' I AM statements – I am the Vine. We discuss the spiritual proof of a branch that bears fruit, the necessity of the pruning process for growth, and the spiritual power that comes from staying connected to the true Vine, Jesus.

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6). In Part 8 of Encounter(ing) God // Son, Pastor Steve unpacks this outrageous and amazing claim from Jesus. The "all-inclusive narrowness" of Jesus is that while He came and died for absolutely every single person, there is only one way for man to enter into right relationship with God...through Jesus.

Pastor Steve is back in the pulpit and speaking on Jesus' statement about Himself – I am the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25,26). We unpack these two verses by looking at the Person who made this claim, the Promise of the claim, and the Power behind this claim.

It is an honor to have our dear friend, Dr. Mark Rutland, with us to share a message entitled, The God of Fire & The Fire of God. Speaking from 1 Kings 18:17-46, Dr. Rutland notes the parallels between what is happening in that historical event and the trajectory of our nation. Beyond that and even more importantly, this account maps over to our personal lives as well. It doesn't matter how dismal things are in our country and in your personal life, it's never too late for Pentecostal Fire.

As a continuation of last week's message, Pastor Steve unpacks 10 more ways we encounter Jesus as our Good Shepherd in Psalm 23. Our Good Shepherd calls us by name, owns us as His prized possession, knows us, goes before us, satisfies us, gives us rest, restores us, leads us in Righteousness, calms and composes us, accompanies us, comforts us, prepares and preserves us, anoints us, overflows us with blessings, and assures us that we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Pastor Steve is back in the pulpit for Encounter(ing) God // Son – Part 5 where he teaches on Jesus' statement, I Am the Good Shepherd. This week we talk about five ways we encounter Jesus as our Good Shepherd and will conclude this message next week. The five ways we encounter the Good Shepherd is that He calls us by name, He owns us, He knows us, He leads us/goes before us, and He satisfies us.
