We get a lot of questions about which camera is best for a first time camera buyer. Most of the time that is a handy-cam. We are not the best authority on handy-cams but a friend of ours, Clay Courington is. Clay has been running a lot of hand-cams over the years and he goes over which camera to buy, what are the pros and cons of handy-cams as well as his step into freelancing. Enjoy!

This week we have a freelance film maker and outdoor producer from Colorado. Lane Walter is one of the most intense back packing/bowhunting/filming dudes you have ever met. He is a physical specimen and knows his way around a camera. He has been working in the hunting industry for over 7 years and is a veteran of the Badlands Film festival as well. If you want to know about western hunting, backpack hunting/filming then Lane is your guy.

What is Content Creation? What is Content? What kind of content should you create? Who or what is an influencer. In this podcast we try and answer the content creation question. This is a super broad but also nuanced term and idea so we try and break it down for our redneck friends.

In this episode Caleb and Ryer are on the road to Oklahoma for a whitetail hunt and they decide this would be a great time to update listeners on what has been going on at Redneck Tech as well as dive deep into filming whitetails. The guys go shot by shot and situation by situation on how to film whitetails and why they do it the way they do it.

Today on the Redneck tech podcast we explore style as it pertains to shooting, editing, and content. We had a follower ask us the difference between Caleb’s and Ryer’s shooting styles, and we decided to expound a bit on that topic. We talk about our stylistic differences, how different clients have different styles, how to shoot and edit for those styles, the style we think different kinds of hunts dictate, how to find your style, and also how to adapt to fit your clients or hunts style.
