In this crazy, wild and burdened world, it's difficult for the church to practice the Christian discipline of joy. We need to know that joy comes from the Lord, He wants us to enjoy this life, and that, ultimately, you deserve that joy. ---- 167: TAKE HOME FAITH: Each of us has 168 hours in a week, and we get to spend 1 of those in church together each week. Following Jesus in your other 167 hours hinges on 4 things: God's Word, prayer, worship, and God's people.

Following Jesus in your other 167 hours hinges on 4 things: God's Word, prayer, worship, and God's people. In seasons of joy, hardship, or uncertainty, prayer is a powerful piece of our connection with God. Ronnie's message focuses on the role prayer plays in our ongoing relationship with God, and what we can learn from the story of the 'persistent widow' in the Bible. God wants to hear from us regarding what we need, over and over and over again. When our faith is strong, or when it's at its weakest, God never tires of our ongoing prayers about the things that are dearest to our hearts.

In the midst of our hardest seasons, worship is a powerful weapon to fight for ourselves, our family, and our future. Shawn's message digs into the way he battles his own anxiety with worship and how we can use worship as an instrumental way to speak truth over ourselves. In the middle of chaos, we can use worship to start moving our souls towards God. By doing this we trade fear, dread, anxiety, and depression for joy, power, rest, peace, guidance, protection, and confidence.

What do you believe about God? Every problem, hardship, and difficult situation will force you to answer that question. Ronnie takes us into the book of Exodus and unpacks how a guy named Moses answered that very question when God called him out.
Wherever you find yourself as 2019 draws to a close - celebrating a great year or wishing it had looked very different - we hope that this service is a breath of fresh air as you step into 2020, and we can't wait to worship with you online!
