The Lightning are dominated once again by the Capitals in a 6-2 loss at Amalie Arena to fall behind 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Final. In contrast to the Boston series, the Lightning are being dominated in 5-on-5 play including giving up a goal on the opening shift on Sunday night. To make matters worse for Tampa Bay fans the Rays got pummeled 17-1 in Baltimore in losing their 6th out of 7 games.

The Lightning are returning to the Eastern Conference Finals for the third time in four years after defeating the Bruins four straight times in dominating fashion. Boston failed to score an even strength goal in the last 3 games as the Lightning's fore check and puck possession were too much for the Bruins to handle. Plus the Rays lose another 1-run game this time with base-running errors and an Alex Colome wild pitch.

The Lightning are looking to take a commanding lead over Boston in the Eastern Conference Semifinals with a win in Game 4 and we talk to the radio voice of the Lightning, Dave Mishkin, to break it all down including how well the Brayden Point line has played, how impressive Tony Cirelli has been and why having Stamkos and Kucherov score a lot more may not be necessary for the Lightning to keep on winning.

We break down Lightning-Bruins Game 3 with Tampa Bay Times columnist Tom Jones who some perceive as rooting for the Bruins because he picked them to win the series. Plus the Rays lose a low-scoring affair in Detroit as Chris Archer pitches well, but not well enough, and 3B coach Matt Quatraro runs them out of an inning, and Yonny Chirinos goes on the DL with right forearm stiffness.

The Lightning win game 3 in Boston and they dominate the game scoring 2 goals in the first 4 minutes and never looked back. Ondrej Palat scored 2 goals as the line of Brayden Point, Tyler Johnson and Ondrej Palat couldn't be stopped by Boston. The Rays lose in 12 innings to the Tigers on a walkoff sacrifice bunt so they end their road trip 5-3 as they return to Tampa Bay.

The Lightning play a more inspired game and beat the Bruins 4-2 to even their series at a game a piece as Brayden Point, Ondrej Palat and Tyler Johnson bounce back with a big game. The Rays get a fantastic performance from Jake Faria who goes 8 shutout innings for the win but the bullpen was shaky again giving up 2 runs in the 9th and the story behind the troubling tweet directed at Bucs GM Jason Licht.

The Lightning lost Game 1 to the Bruins 6-2 and look to rebound in Game 2 tonight before going to Boston, the Bucs have a very successful NFL Draft filling a lot of positions of need for the team and the Rays 8-game losing streak comes to an end but the bats have certainly come to life for the team.

The Bucs trade back in the NFL Draft and still get their man, 347-pound DT Vita Vea from Washington. Vea was 4th on the Bucs board and they are really happy with the pick. Plus the Rays bats remain hot in beating the Orioles and the Lightning are set to take on the Bruins in Game 1 on Saturday.

It's NFL Draft day and we talk to the Professor, John Clayton, about the Draft, how many QBs will go early, who will the Bucs take with the 7th pick with an obvious need on defense, plus the Lightning will now face the Boston Bruins in the 2nd round after they defeated Toronto on Wednesday night.
