DFS NFL Talk for Week 1 FanDuel and DraftKings - Cash Game Plays 9/6/17 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:43:00

DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis take to the NFL podcast discussing Week 1 cash game value plays for FanDuel and DraftKings. After a full off season we are back with thoughts on how to attack cash games on both sites. They start with quarterback, looking at Aaron Rodgers as a safer play even against a perceived strong defense in Seattle. He was the second most consistent quarterback last season and this game has a great over/under in his favor. They also look at Cam Newton, Russell Wilson and Carson Wentz (DraftKings). At running back the discussion obviously revolves around David Johnson and Le’Veon Bell who rate out of the highest raw points plays on the week (by far). But the guys also spend some time on Todd Gurley. For receiver they discuss Antonio Brown, Jordy Nelson, Alshon Jeffrey and Terrell Pryor. All of this and more on a full NFL Podcast for Week 1 on FanDuel and DraftKings.

They look at some of the trends that came out of those lineups and how it can help inform some weekly NFL DFS decisions.  NFL Playoff Conference Championship Round Game-by-Game Breakdown - 1/19/17 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:34:00

The DFSR crew of James Davis and Doug Norrie jump on a final NFL podcast for the season to discuss an exciting final DFS week for FanDuel and DraftKings. This is about as high octane a final week you can get with four elite offenses going in the Falcons, Packers, Patriots and Steelers.  They break down each game and what DFS implications we can take from each team. The Packers are interesting in that they may be quite weak in the WR corps with Jordy Nelson and Davonte Adams possibly both out. Can Aaron Rodgers make up the difference? They also discuss just how deep the Falcons are on offense.  The Steelers are so concentrated on offense and they discuss where Le’Veon Bell is a must play. And finally, they break down Tom Brady and whether Julian Edelman is the top overall WR this week.

 NFL Playoff Divisional Round Game-by-Game Breakdown - 1/12/17 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:47:00

DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis break down the Division Playoff Round. There’s a lot to get into with some of the NFL’s elite playing in the highest of leverage games this weekend. They discuss how to evaluate the Atlanta Falcons offensive situation and how they like the spread the ball around to a number of different options but you can consider Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman as GPP options.  They also talk about how Doug Baldwin’s become an elite target option.  For the Steelers it’s clear how the Big three in Ben, Bell, and Brown hog most of the opportunity.  They also talk about the Chiefs’ situation and if you can consider Spencer Ware.  Then of course there’s the big game between the Packers and the Cowboys. Dan Prescott makes for a very interesting cheaper QB play.

 NFL Playoff Wildcard Round Game-by-Game Breakdown 1/5/17 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:36:00

Doug Norrie and James Davis take a look at the Wildcard Round for the DraftKings and FanDuel and the plays to make from each game. They start with the worst game on the slate in Houston and Oakland. While the game might be brutal, Lamar Miller does make for an interesting cash game play if you think he sees a heavy workload.  Pittsburgh / Miami could be all Le’Veon Bell who stands to be the highest owned player (by far) for the weekend.  Then they discuss the Seahawks trouble rushing the ball and the value you get in the Detroit passing game. Finally, they finish off with the Packers/ Giants, the safety in Aaron Rodgers and the much improved Giants’ D.

Week 17 NFL Game-By-Game Breakdown for FanDuel and DraftKings | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:21:00

The DFSR guys break down the NFL Week 17 DFS slate for FanDuel and DraftKings in a monster pod. There are just so many things to consider this week with some teams fighting for their playoff lives, some totally out of it and others falling somewhat in between.  The big games to target seem to be the Falcons/ Saints and the Packers/ Lions. But there are plenty of other considerations with the Seahawks, Falcons and Chiefs all with something to play for.  They discuss a glut of possible running back value as well and why it might make sense to pay up for receivers this week.

Week 17 NFL Value Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings - 12/28/16 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:34:00

The DFSR guys talk some Week 17 value plays for FanDuel and DraftKings. Week 17 is always a little tricky as we figure out which teams actually have something to play for and which ones are resting starters and key players.  At quarterback, it’s time to spend up with guys like Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson and Matt Ryan.  Running back is very tricky with only really David Johnson standing out in the upper tier. Then we can look cheaper with Mark Ingram, Bilal Powell and maybe Chris Ivory.  And finally, spending up at wide receiver could also be the way to go and the guys talk about Jordy Nelson, Julio Jones and Doug Baldwin.
