Inspirational Living: Motivation, Self-Help, Spirituality & Positive Thinking: Building Self Confidence: Change Your Limiting Beliefs | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0

Published on 09 Mar 2017. Listen to episode 142 of the Inspirational Living podcast: Building Self-Confidence: Change Your Limiting Beliefs. Adapted from “Success Through Thought Habit” by Benjamin Johnson. Motivational Podcast Excerpt: Have confidence in yourself. Believe in your ability to do big things. Only by having faith in yourself, can you compel others to have faith in you. Think big thoughts and back them up with big deeds. You can, if you will. And you will. Many a little seed has longed to develop and send a little shoot up toward the sunshine. But growth has always been delayed until suddenly the outer wall that limited its growth is burst apart! Many lives are in the same condition: the wall of thought that limits them must be burst before real growth can occur. The one great infallible rule to be learned when you desire to think constructively, is that the conditions you desire will exist for you in just the proportion that you are capable of developing your own natural powers. If you persist in drawing a line of demarcation between yourself and that which you desire, or if you feel that a certain person is responsible for what you are to obtain, or that a certain condition dependent on other people is necessary for your development, then just so long will you be kept from making the progress that you should. To say feebly, "Yes, indeed, I was full of enthusiasm when I started in the work, but one thing after another went wrong until I just thought I would stop trying and get out while I could," shows that your backbone has never been developed at all; otherwise every obstacle would have spurred you on to greater effort.  The Daily Boost: Best Daily Motivation | Life | Career | Goal Setting | Health | Law of Attraction | Network Marketing: Tasks vs Goals | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0

Published on 15 May 2017. Happy Monday! Since you're starting a new week, you are probably setting a few short-term goals. Are you sure they are a goal? It's easy to get caught up in life and confuse the tasks you need to do with goals - but there is a difference. 1) Goals contain your outcome and why you desire them. 2) Your passion for a goal turns into reality when you begin achieving your list of tasks. 3) If your tasks do not align directly with you goals, you will not reach your goal. That's called a distraction. 4) When you complete your goal aligned tasks, you move closer to your stated outcome. Not all tasks lead to goals, but all goals lead to tasks. Stay focused.

Earn Your Happy Podcast | Motivation | Self-Love | Entrepreneurship | Confidence | Fitness and Life Coaching with Lori Harder: 122: Live Your KICKASS LIFE - How to LET GO of Blocks and SHAME with Andrea Owen | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0

Published on 10 Apr 2017. Andrea Owen is an author, mentor, and certified life coach who helps women get what they want by letting go of perfectionism, control, and isolation and choosing to practice courage instead. She has helped thousands of women manage their inner-critic to create loving connections and live their most kick-ass life. When she’s not juggling her full coaching practice and writing her second book, Andrea is busy competing in triathlons, chasing her 7-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter or making out with her husband, Jason. She’s also a retired roller derby player having skated under the name “Veronica Vain.” Around 2003, when Andrea was first exposed and becoming aware of life-coaches/coaching, she knew she’d found her path. Having lived a pretty “charmed” life as she called it, she wasn't sure how she could be a life coach without any extraordinary life circumstances or tragedies to be able to share and relate to. Having said that, a few short years later as Andrea and her then-husband were trying to have their first baby, she found out about his affair with the neighbor and a resulting pregnancy from that (talk about her first traumatic event! GEEZ!). Just when you think “what could be worse?” Andrea picked herself up and launched herself back into the dating world. Moving onto the next man who she thought was Mr. Right, she later found out about his addictive drug habits and how she had been conned out of more than $8,000 during their 9-month relationship. Oh, and she was pregnant. Looking back and telling her story with us, Andrea now shares how she believed this all may have come to be. “The common denominator of my circumstances was me. What was I attracting in my life? What had I tolerated? What had I ignored my intuition about?” Digging herself out of the rut like a strong, powerhouse woman would, Andrea skipped the “victim” role and instead went to taking radical responsibility for her life! (YOU GO GIRL!) Expressing her feelings about her rock-bottom years wasn’t easy, but Andrea found the message in all of her mess and shares with us some of the very first steps on how she started over. “I wrote down 10 things I was grateful for, and it was actually pretty easy. Despite a few things, let’s be honest…I still had a very privileged life.” Fun fact: You cannot be angry and grateful at the same time. No matter what has happened previously, you can’t let your past define you. Andrea is the perfect example of someone who has had hardship(s) in her life, but has still come out on top! You must envision your future. Draw it out, pray for it and hustle until it becomes your reality. “Controlling and perfectionism were two of my biggest nemesis, but I had to learn the balance between taking responsibility and also for letting go and self-compassion.” In This Episode You Will Learn About: Practice Courage Confidence Connecting Life Coaching Intuition Attracting Manifesting Gratitude Letting go Resources: 52 Ways to a Kick-Ass Life, by Andrea Owen 7 Day Courage Challenge If you’re ready to say HELL YES, go to yourkickasslife.com for more on Andrea!  The Tim Ferriss Show: #210: Becoming the Best Version of You | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0

Published on 20 Dec 2016. This is a special episode of The Tim Ferriss Show. The audio is from a live conversation with not one, not two, but three guests: Josh Waitzkin, Ramit Sethi, and Adam Robinson. Josh Waitzkin is an endlessly fascinating person who gets mentioned a lot on this show for good reason. For the uninitiated, Josh was the basis for the book and movie Searching for Bobby Fischer. He's perfected the techniques that made him into a chess prodigy and a jiu-jitsu black belt, and he shared them in his book The Art of Learning. Ramit Sethi (@ramit) is a personal finance guru who has built a huge company from his blog. He's the best-selling author of I Will Teach You to be Rich. Adam Robinson is the trusted outside global macro advisor to the heads of some of the world's largest hedge funds and family offices. He's written a best-seller on test preparation, developed artificial intelligence text analysis, been recognized as a chess master, and he's hilarious. I hope you enjoy this special edition of the podcast. Show notes and links for this episode can be found at www.fourhourworkweek.com/podcast. This podcast is brought to you by Four Sigmatic. I reached out to these Finnish entrepreneurs after a very talented acrobat introduced me to one of their products, which blew my mind (in the best way possible). It is mushroom coffee featuring chaga. It tastes like coffee, but there are only 40 milligrams of caffeine, so it has less than half of what you would find in a regular cup of coffee. I do not get any jitters, acid reflux, or any type of stomach burn. It put me on fire for an entire day, and I only had half of the packet. People are always asking me what I use for cognitive enhancement right now, this is the answer. You can try it right now by going to foursigmatic.com/tim and using the code Tim to get 20 percent off your first order. If you are in the experimental mindset, I do not think you'll be disappointed. This podcast is also brought to you by Audible. I have used Audible for years, and I love audiobooks. I have two to recommend: The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman Vagabonding by Rolf Potts All you need to do to get your free 30-day Audible trial is go to Audible.com/Tim. Choose one of the above books, or choose any of the endless options they offer. That could be a book, a newspaper, a magazine, or even a class. It's that easy.  The Rich Roll Podcast: Navy SEAL David Goggins Is The Toughest Athlete On Earth — Thoughts On Mindset, The 40% Rule & Why Purpose Always Trumps Moti | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0

Published on 02 Jan 2017. “When you think you're done, you're only at 40% of your total potential.” David Goggins This week's guest is incontrovertibly the most inspirational person I have ever met -- a man that will catapult you into 2017 with the inspiration and tools to chase huge dreams, shatter limits, and actualize your best, most authentic self. Often referred to as the toughest athlete on the planet, David Goggins (@davidgoggins) is the only member of the US Armed Forces to complete SEAL training (including two Hell Weeks), the U.S. Army Ranger School (where he graduated as Enlisted Honor Man) and Air Force tactical air controller training. But David is perhaps best known for his superhuman feats of strength and ultra-endurance. After several of his friends died in a 2005 helicopter crash while deployed in Afghanistan, David honored their memory by tackling the 10 most difficult endurance challenges on Earth to raise funds and awareness for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which provides college scholarships and grants to the children of fallen special ops soldiers. Hence began a most unexpected yet remarkably storied athletic career as one of the world's most accomplished endurance athletes. Highlights include: 2013: world record for most pullups in a 24 hour period (4,030); 2007: 3rd place -- Badwater 135 – a 135 mile ultramarathon across Death Valley widely considered to be the world’s most difficult foot race; 2006: 2nd place -- Ultraman World Championships, a double-ironman distance race widely considered to be the world's most difficult triathlon; 2007: 1st place -- 48-Hour National Championship endurance foot race, where he ran 203.5 miles, beating the previous record by 20 miles; and 2007 - 2016 -- additional top finishes at dozens of the world's most grueling endurance races, including The HURT 100, Leadville 100, Western States & more. But perhaps David’s greatest accomplishment is that throughout his life, he has faced and overcome a concatenation of seemingly insurmountable obstacles to become the man he is today – obstacles like asthma, sickle cell anemia, psychological and physical abuse, obesity, academic struggles, and even a congenital heart defect that often left him competing -- and winning -- on a mere fraction of his actual physical capabilities. In addition to being one of the most remarkable people I have ever met, David has had a profound impact on me personally. It was his singular example that ignited my passion for ultra-endurance and fueled the self-belief required to pursue a new life. In truth, I’m not sure I would have achieved my athletic and life goals had he not blazed the path before me. I simply cannot ever repay the debt of gratitude I have for this man. One of the most powerful podcasts I have ever produced, this a conversation about the primacy of purpose to cultivate your inner voice. It's about passion and self-accountability. It's about the limiting beliefs that hold us back and the importance of mindset to overcome them. And it's about the embrace of suffering as a crucible for growth and self-knowledge. But ultimately, this is a conversation about what it means to be truly alive. Welcome to 2017 people. It's time to check your excuses at the door. It's time to stop talking yourselves out of being great. It's time to get comfortable being uncomfortable. It's time to wake up. Because your life is not some future event. Your life is now. Peace + Plants, P.S. - If you enjoy this podcast and can't get enough of Goggins, you'll dig my podcast with Jesse Itzler, author of Living With A SEAL. I'll give you one guess who that SEAL is.  Listen & Subscribe on iTunes | Soundcloud | Stitcher | GooglePlay Spots are now available for Plantpower Austraila, Feb. 20-27, 2017.
