Life Is A Marathon: Life Coaching | Spirituality | Personal Development | Positive Thinking | Personal Branding: LIAM 350 – Ask Better Questions, Get Better Answers | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0

Published on 02 Jun 2017. The quality of the answers we receive from ourselves, others, and from the Universe are based on the quality of the questions we ask. If life isn't giving you answers that are positive, productive, and moving you forward, it is because you are asking the wrong questions. If you are asking questions like "how could I be so stupid?", "why do I always say the wrong thing?", "why doesn't anyone like me?", etc., your sub-conscious mind, and other people, are going to give you the exact data as evidence to support those questions! It's time to start asking questions that will yield better, more productive answers. Listen as I explain: Listen on iTunes or Listen to/download this episode here: Love the show?  Earn Your Happy Podcast | Motivation | Self-Love | Entrepreneurship | Confidence | Fitness and Life Coaching with Lori Harder: 159: Why You’re Not Where You Want to Be and the SIX Guiding Principles to Get You There with Angelike Norrie | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0

Published on 21 Aug 2017. I am so excited to have my soul sister, Angelike Norrie, back on my podcast! Having gone through so many challenging life events in the last couple of years, she’s here to share how her Six Guiding Principles helped carry her through them all.   If you feel out of control, this episode is a must listen. I suggest taking notes and perhaps listening twice (if you’re able) to get all the juicy goodness out of it.   --   Questions Asked in This Episode What was it that pulled you through all of your recent life events/challenges? What does it feel like when you’re in and out of alignment – mentally and physically? What do you do when you catch yourself just doing something just to do something – even when it’s not fulfilling? What are your 6 Guiding Principles? What do you do to manage time with your family when you’re in the thick of hustling? How do you do both and still move the needle forward in life? How do we make sure social media doesn’t infiltrate our minds or send us down a negative spiral?   In This Episode You Will Learn: About Angelike’s 6 Guiding Principles: Faith, Family, Fitness, Financial Freedom, Fellowship and Play. Why just accomplishing and just “doing” won’t ever fulfill you About the importance of being resourceful Why balance is BS How doing ONE thing a day can propel you forward Why it’s important to set boundaries in all areas of life Why we must have fun and joy while working/hustling And so much more…   Quotes: “The pain is inevitable; the suffering is a choice.”   “If I can find order in the physical, I can find order in the spiritual.”   “If the world is moving forward and you’re sitting still, you’re going to be left behind.”   “Do at least one thing every day to move the needle forward.”   “We must make a conscious decision to create sacred space for our family.”   “If the queen doesn’t eat, the kingdom won’t either.”   “If you have a bad day, have three good ones after that.”   “Don’t underestimate the power of 15 minutes.”   “Your why is a command on your life.”   “Don’t make it so you have to carve out fun like it’s an obligation.” -- Angelike Norrie is a happily married, working mother of two adorable girls and a five-time cover model. Prior to taking a leap of faith to control her own destiny, she worked in corporate America as a sales executive, managing fortunes and people. After escaping 60-hour workweeks with extensive travel, she became an entrepreneur with a passion for nutrition, fitness, philosophy, and business coaching. These days, instead of stressing about quotas, day care and commutes, she helps women flex both their physical and spiritual muscles through Soulutions, a multi-faceted coaching program that helps women bare their souls and regain dominion in all areas of their life. A world martial arts champion and believer in daily discipline, Angelike is the author of Life Lines, a four-part journal series for women that provides weekly inspiration, daily reflection and goal setting, all combined with tools for daily meal and exercise tracking. Using the power of technology, Angelike developed Body Soulutions, a free online monthly membership club for women who want to be mentored and coached with cutting-edge health information, fun recipes, laughter and goofiness, and strategies for building happy, balanced lives and financial stability.   Resources:   Previous Earn Your Happy podcast with Angelike: https://www.loriharder.com/episode3/   Angelikenorrie.com IG: @angelikenorrie FB: facebook.com/LadyBossLiving/     Checkout my website at loriharder.com.  Life Is A Marathon: Life Coaching | Spirituality | Personal Development | Positive Thinking | Personal Branding: LIAM 352 – Resistance is Restricting Your Power | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0

Published on 06 Jun 2017. 100 Watt light bulbs give off more light than 40 Watt bulbs do. Why? Because the 40 Watt bulb offers more resistance to the natural flow of electricity than the 100 Watt bulb does. What kind of light bulb do you want to be? Do you want to shine brighter than you are now, experience more life, express your true nature and abilities more than you currently do? The only reason you are not living to your fullest potential and free experience of life is because you are resisting the natural flow and expression of the Power within you. Listen as I explain: Listen on iTunes or Listen to/download this episode here: Love the show?  Legendary Life | Change Your Health, Body, And Live a Legendary Life: 257: Why You're Not Losing Fat Even Though You Eat Right & Workout Regularly | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0

Published on 11 Jul 2017. You’ve been walking the straight and narrow—eating healthy, working out—and yet you’re not dropping pounds or getting fitter. What gives? The answer may be hiding out amid the random things you do over the course of an average day—those little habits that have seemingly no connection to weight loss, but may in fact be sabotaging your best get-fit efforts. Listen to this episode to find out why and what to do about it.   So you started out by making a decision to clean up your diet and to begin an exercise program. At first the results come fast. A few weeks go by and you’re down a pounds on the scale. Your muscles feel much stronger and you ‘re starting to see a difference in the mirror. You think, “Wow, why didn’t I do this before. In another few months, I’ll be looking like one of those fitness magazine models!” Except, that never happens. A few months in and your results have stalled. You think, “I need to exercise more and eat ‘cleaner’.” So you start doing more exercise and only eat whole foods…with an occasional indulgence in some junky goodness. But you’re STILL not seeing much of a difference. In fact, you’re not sure if you see any difference at all even though you’re doing more exercise than before. You, my friend, have hit the dreaded plateau. You think to yourself, “I’m doing everything right. Maybe I hit the limit of my genetic potential. Or maybe my metabolism isn’t as fast as it used to be in my 20s. Maybe I’m just too old to get into great shape.” Well, like the saying goes, I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is that your fat loss plateau is NOT due to a your 40-plus-year-old metabolism or hormone levels or endocrine disrupting chemicals in the environment. Maybe those play a part but none of them are the reason you’ve hit a plateau. And the best news is that you definitely can break through your plateau and start getting results again. Now for the bad news… You’re going to have to do things differently because you’re program isn’t good for you anymore. In fact, I’m wagering that you’ll also have to change what you think you know about burning fat and getting lean. How do I know? Well, I’ve been in the health & fitness industry for over 18 years. I know how confusing it can be to weed through all the misinformation and B.S. to figure out what you actually need to do to get in shape. Hell, I’ve been in the industry for nearly two decades and studied pre-med/biology in university and I’ve still had a problem vetting all the claims and new findings to figure out what would give my clients (and myself) the best results.  I’ve spent thousands of dollars and thousands of hours taking courses and attending seminars, hiring coaches and speaking 1-on-1 with some of the best and brightest researchers, nutritionists, strength coaches, medical doctors and more on my podcast Legendary Life. If you relate to any of the above statements then you’re going to appreciate what I’m about to teach you about the #1 key to weight loss, why it’s so hard to lose fat, your metabolism, how fat loss works and how to apply what you learn in this article to get results! Why It’s So Hard To Lose Fat Most people hear about the skyrocketing rates of obesity and just assume that being overweight is some unexplainable phenomenon. My dad even asked me why being overweight is such a problem in America--especially since there are so many diet books, gyms, health blogs, etc. ALL about how lose weight. He was dumbfounded. In fact, the rate of obesity has doubled worldwide and more than doubled in the US since 1980.   While some people argue that it’s the sugar, endocrine disrupting chemicals, genetically modified foods or disrupted gut microbiomes that has caused us to get fatter, the more likely answer is much more simple. To answer this question, let
