All the boys are back together and maybe drinking during this episode.  We chat about pickle backs, judging restaurants, hot dogs, french fry debate, guy fieri, knife fight, hangover foods, micheladas, foods that should be left to the pros, and much more!

Sorry for the wait!  I’ve been very busy working on a lot of other food related things that are coming soon, but we’re back on track with some new episodes.   This was recorded last week on location in NYC where Jason sat down solo with Jeff & Eric Rosenthal from “It’s The Real” two super funny brothers born and raised in New York.  They have a new podcast called “A Waste Of Time” where they invite rappers to their upper west side apartment and cook them dinner.  I chat with them about all things new york food, bagels, fuku burgers, and so much more. 

The boys sit down with Josh from The Oinkster, a great burger spot here in Los Angeles who do an annual burger week extravaganza, rolling out a new crazy burger special each day for a week, often selling well over a thousand burgers each day.  We cover all their research and development for each burger, learn some new tips, and drink beers the whole time.  

Noah Galuten is a chef and all around food guy working with LA restaurants Bludsoe’s, Cofax, Prime Pizza, Golden State, and more!  He’s also a youtube food host, food writer, and a bunch more!  The boys chat with him about his career path, how he learned to make proper texas BBQ, upcoming projects, recipe testing, and his food philosophies.  Great episode and a great guy full of useful advice!

Even though it’s currently raining here in Los Angeles, Jason, Andre, and Chris discuss summertime grill season.  Tips on BBQ etiquette, what equipment you need, and our favorite ways to grill veggies, fish, poultry, and red meat + lots of bad jokes and the usual stuff.

Dustin Lancaster is an LA based restauranteur, hotelier, thespian, and all around solid fella.  We chat with him about his many successful restaurants and bars here in LA, what it took to get where he is, productivity tips, expensive wine, rare bison, oysters, and so much more.

Zach Brooks from the Food Is The New Rock podcast returns to chat with us about some New York hotspots, a longer than necessary shake shack vs in n out discussion, how having kids effects your restaurant experience, the Chef’s Table Netflix series, and so much more!

Lee Tilghman just moved from NY to LA recently, and has gained quite a following online for her healthy and beautiful creations.  This weekend she’s doing a breakfast pop up at famed LA restaurant “Alma” serving smoothie bowls, granolas, and other little treats that I’m eating right now.  We talk with her about how she got started, her favorite spots here in LA, learned some nutritional facts, in n out vs shake shack, working with Alma, and pop ups in general.

Andy Windak is a chef, fellow podcast host, producer of the Coconut Club pop-up, has appeared on Vice Munchies with TJ Miller, and a zillion other things.  Andre and Jason chat with him about his career, what goes into producing a pop up restaurant, realistic expectation of trying to become a food personality, and a cool breakdown of some dishes and drinks from his infamous elevated Tiki themed menu.

Much like Coachella, baseball season started up this week, so we dig into updated stadium food, our baseball favorites, how to save money bringing your own food to games, smuggling beer, and we cover some non baseball topics like what guy fieri is up to, and a new kind of pour over coffee!

We sit down with Marcus Christiana-Beniger from famed Los Angeles based market and deli “The Little Jewel of New Orleans.”  Since they’ve recently opened, Little Jewel has become one of our favorite spots for amazing po boy sandwiches, house-made sausages, and hundreds of regional market specialties, and kombucha!  Marcus tells us what exactly makes a po boy, where and how he sources his ingredients, how the Chinatown neighborhood accepted them, and how we think he’s doing the lords work bringing all of this amazing food to LA for us.  

Daddy Kev is an LA music veteran, founding member of the legendary event “Low End Theory” which has played home for the LA beat scene, and runs his own studio here called “Cosmic Zoo.”  More importantly he’s a bit of a sushi fanatic, and we invited him on to chat about just that.  We get into sushi do’s and don’ts for beginners, the journey of a proper omakase meal, hidden gems of Los Angeles Sushi, and a blow by blow of his full meal at Jiro Sushi in Japan.  Great podcast for sushi beginners and experts alike!

Yeekai Lim is the man behind Cognoscenti Coffee here in Los Angeles.  His shops can be found at Proof Bakery in Atwater Village, Culver City, Chinatown, and various other projects.  We speak with him about how he started with coffee pop ups and moved on to full retail locations, and new ventures into bean roasting and beyond.  We chat a bit about service and hospitality, yelp, tea, and how you can have the best cup of coffee in the world, but probably not other things.

Adrianna Adarme is known for the blog “A Cozy Kitchen” she’s written two cookbooks, has a corgi, and more importantly knows a good deal about pie.  We’re one day late on the piecast but we still pack in tons of pie tips and tricks, get into the details of writing a cookbook, being confident in your palate, and learning more about wine.
