The draft is finally over and the "experts" are weighing in with their grades. Most of them aren't high on the Hawk's' picks, and that's okay. Most of them graded them low in the years when they drafted well, and graded them high in recent years. They claimed Washington TE Will Dissly in the 4th round. It's probably a good thing Dissly switched positions or he might not have even been drafted. Seattle got lucky, getting Shaquem Griffin in the 5th. It's a little surprising he lasted that long. He's a feel-good story, yes, but more importantly he's a solid player. Jim Panagos, defensive line coach at Temple discusses the Hawks' 6th-round pick, Jacob Martin.

The Mariners are 16-11 after their first month of the season, and it's a bit of a glass half full/half empty situation. The team is five games above .500 for the first time in over a year, and the offense is crushing it, but our starting pitching is not performing well, all with an ERA of 5 or higher.
