In an effort to redeem themselves from the last podcast debacle, Allen practiced for HOURS to learn how to play "Hole Hearted" by Extreme, and you can hear him and Kellie perform it on today's podcast.  Kellie wonders if this "Evans Curse" Allen told her about is actually for real after yet another bad customer service experience.   What would you do if you if you saw an elderly woman who seemed to be having a stroke? Allen will tell you what happened to a very dear friend of the family when this happened to her.  Allen also shares more that he's learned from his new favorite book, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a (BLANK). Just how special are you? If we're ALL special, then is anyone truly special? Deep thought, right? But Kellie has a list of things that may show that you ARE indeed special.   Parents are always lying to their kids. What are the biggest lies that your parents told you that you may have only recently found out weren't true after all?  Allen just started reading The Subtle Art of Not Giving A (BLANK) and he's REALLY into it. He gives a brief synopsis and plans to get into more with the next podcast.  And Kellie and Allen finally have a Netflix show they're watching together -- Making a Murderer 2\. This documentary has them all riled up. But the most fun part to come out of it is Steven Avery's new attorney, Kathleen Zellner! Kellie and Allen cover a lot of ground in this podcast!  How cold is it? Allen's got jokes.  Are bald men sexier and more masculine? Do bald spots count? Apparently, it all boils down to science. And yes, it's FUN.  Allen gives an update on his quest to conquer snoring. And to top off this crazy podcast ride, Kellie and Allen give their Super Bowl predictions.

After a quick update on their weight loss progress, Allen and Kellie talk about the Ted Bundy documentary they saw on Netflix and how it's sparked their interest in watching other true crime shows together.  Allen had a run-in with the internet provider that not only left him with a bad taste in his mouth, he still has crappy internet service!   Kellie and Allen are also shopping for a new church home. What are the main things Allen is looking for? How was their first experience visiting a new church?  Finally, Allen had so much fun with Fun with Acronyms that he brought it back, and this time, he's quizzing Kellie.

Kellie has been trying to get Allen to the doctor for a colonoscopy for over a year and he finally had his first appointment! How did it go? Was Allen able to keep from giggling during his appointment? Did he find the doctor as dreamy as Kellie did?  In Ask Allen Anything, Allen and Kellie answer letters about parenting in blended families and give inexpensive ideas for a couple's bucket list.  And while the R. Kelly scandal is in the forefront of the news, Kellie brings up some other highly inappropriate relationships between celebrities and minors that have somehow been swept under the rug and completely ignored.

Kellie and Allen recorded this week's podcast propped up in bed because they recorded it during the final quarter of the Patriots and Chiefs game. Miraculously, Allen managed to participate in the podcast while keeping one eye on the TV! Kellie and Allen have been on a new weight loss program that involves giving each other shots in the butt. How did their first stab at that go? Was it as dramatic as we expected? Kellie is thrilled about Chris Pratt's engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger. That led to a discussion on the average cost of engagement rings and weddings. Kellie and Allen had a whirlwind weekend in Scottsdale, Arizona! (By the way, Scottsdale is NOT the capital of Arizona...)  In addition to celebrating the third anniversary of their very first date, Kellie and Allen went to a weight loss spa where they had a come-to-Jesus with the scale, learned how to give each other shots in the derriere, and were told to eat their hearts out for two solid days before commencing on the program! That may sound like heaven, but it's harder than you think.   Kellie and Allen also give details on their photo shoot for a local magazine, which is due out in February. And after receiving a lot of messages about incorrectly correcting Kellie about India being part of Asia, Allen shares some very interesting facts about geography.
