Kellie and Allen cover a lot of ground on this podcast! Allen serenades Kellie because........it's almost her birthday!! And he got her a surprise which we'll ALL find out about on the next podcast.   Allen got to hang out with some of his sports heroes -- true LEGENDS in Dallas! But things got super awkward when Allen asked Troy Aikman for a picture. With the 40th anniversary of Terrible Tuesday, Allen talks about the tornado that struck his hometown of Wichita Falls. Kellie also describes what it was like to live through Hurricane Hugo. Every once in a while in their relationship, Kellie screws up. And this time, she apologized with flowers. Kellie and Allen also share their stories about dealing with panic attacks and how one doctor's advice has really helped. Allen has his mind made up that in his golden years, he's going to sell the house, buy an RV and force Kellie to live in it as they drive across the country. Did you fall for any April Fools Day pranks? Allen did. TWICE! He'll tell you what he fell for AND give you some way more creative ways to call somebody a fool.  Kellie shares her most recent podcast obsession. Allen sees a man doing something super embarrassing, which leads to a funny discussion on being caught in awkward situations.  And after a college student in SC ordered an Uber but mistakenly got into the wrong car, she ended up losing her life. Kellie shares a some safety tips for people who use ride shares so hopefully this won't happen again.

Kellie and Allen met on Bumble and for some reason, they believe they're semi-experts on the subject. Kellie got a DM from a podcast listener asking for some critiquing and advising on her Bumble profile, which she was happy to do. But it turns out Allen didn't necessarily agree with what Kellie advised the listener to do.   There's been a lot of NCAA basketball at Evans Manor and Allen is all about Texas Tech making it into the Final Four for the first time in the school's history. But who would think Kellie has a hot sports opinion on BASEBALL? And after posting a video of Larry the Rescue Dog scooting his butt across the carpet, Allen got A LOT of feedback. Are Kellie and Allen the worst dog owners ever??

Kellie was on a work trip to Florida when the engine on her plane exploded during take off and had to make an emergency landing. Here ALL the details -- and according to Allen, WAY too many details -- on today's podcast.  Allen got to experience what it's like to have lunch with the old timers and the panic that occurs when you're afraid you won't be first in line. That led to a discussion about the beauty of the China Buffet! And also, Allen revealed the list of weird food rules he has for himself.  And is it the sage wisdom of Confucius or the sexually-laced innuendos of Allen? After their rescue dog Larry was housebroken, he suddenly started peeing in the house again! After some thorough googling, Allen discovered the cause of the urination and how to stop it. Kellie and Allen share their stories about how they accidentally stole stuff and how they lived with themselves afterward. And how skinny is she? Allen shares some funny ways Texans describe the skinniest living among us.

Kellie goes solo on today's podcast! Well, if you don't count the dog. But Larry is the inspiration behind this podcast because he's recently reverted to peeing in the house. That led Allen to do some research and we think we found out the reason why this is happening again AND what we can do to correct that behavior. Only 24 hours into our new routine, and it seems to be working! If you're having the same issues with your dog, this could be some really helpful information.   Also, Kellie discovered the Dog-Eared blog on one of the podcast sponsors, MyOllie.com com, that was especially interesting -- Why Dogs Do Weird Things. So if you've ever wondered why your fixed dog still humps your leg or why he's eating grass, this blog could be very enlightening!   And finally, Allen decided that he and Kellie should share an iCloud calendar. Thanks for filling in for Kellie while she took off for spring break, White Cheddar! But Kellie listened to that podcast and she has a few things she wants to clear up.  Kellie went to SC and grabbed her best friend since fifth grade for her very first trip to NYC. Tomi Jean calls in to tell about her Today Show experience!  And Allen had a whole list of things he wanted to do around the house while Kellie was away. How many did he get done? What's left? Kellie has left town to visit friends and family over Spring Break, leaving poor Allen with his thoughts and nothing but time. What will he do? Crawl in the fetal position quietly sucking his thumb? He decides to take the bull by the horns, er the flower by the thorns, and take A Sandwich & Some Lovin’ on the road and podcast with Robert “White Cheddar” Ehrman, producer of the Kidd Kraddick morning show and one of the “Fat Guys” from the Fat Guy Handbook podcast!  A-Train & White Cheddar decide to make it a Fat Guy, Thin Guy dynamic duo, talking about famous fat / skinny man teams, why being a fat guy is tough, things that only women who date skinny guys would understand, and, if Allen should still be upset he couldn’t get double broccoli a month ago. Finally, White Cheddar pulls back the fat guy kimono, revealing what he likes most and least about working on the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show. 

Kellie and Allen decide to take the podcast out on date night. What were they celebrating? Was it a good idea to dink? Did it affect their podcast performances? Judge for yourself!   With Kellie is going out of town for spring break, that leaves Allen home alone and in charge of a podcast all by his lonesome. He asked the podcast family for some cohost suggestions and potential topics. Kellie and Allen go over those and give the big reveal for the cohost of A Sandwich and Some Lovin' for Thursday, March 14!

Things start off beautifully. Podcast family member Justin reported that his cancer surgery was successful! And Kellie shared the 22 life-changing things Camila Cabello learned while she was 21\. Will you agree with her inspirational words of wisdom? Will you take life advice from a 22-year-old? Allen is skeptical, but eventually climbed on board.  Why do men remember nothing and women remember EVERYTHING? Don't be too mad at your man, ladies, because there's a scientific reason for that. Kellie will tell you what that is.  And Kellie and Allen have been on a joint weight loss journey. Allen insists it's not a competition, but find out what he said to Kellie that caused her to be offended? And then, Allen told something a man should never reveal about his wife!! Allen humors Kellie and lets her give her take on the Red Table Talk session with Jordyn Woods, who gives her version of what happened between her and Tristan Thompson that led Khloe Kardashian to lash out on Twitter.  And while Kellie and Allen aren't irritated with each other, they've been dealing colossal irritations all weekend! Is the house falling apart? Do home warranties ever cover ANYTHING that goes wrong? And with all these household expenses, Kellie spent how much at a charity auction??!!   And with Kellie heading out of town for spring break, Allen is going to be doing the bachelor thing at home. If you haven't watched "Abducted in Plain Sight" on Netflix, Kellie and Allen go into extensive detail about what happens in this disturbing documentary, which left both of them banging their heads in disbelief and exclaiming more than once, "I wouldn't have told that!!"  But before they get to dissecting that dark documentary, Kellie talks about something extremely interesting in her moms' group text that involves getting drunk for the greater good. And should Kellie tell the moms that her daughter may have exposed all of their daughters to Type A flu?  Since Allen dropped 21 pounds, Kellie gave him skinny jeans and new underwear for Valentine's Day. Allen initially scoffed at both, but how does he feel about them NOW? Also, Allen finds a really interesting article that reveals what a man's underwear choice says about him.
