Beginning now, we will be taking a short break from the show. After 325 episodes (closer to 500 if you include Hotseats) we've decided to do what everyone should do after 4 years of work: take some time off. This is definitely not permanent, but we're also not gonna rush to assign a timeline. All the details are in the episode. Not only that, but Mark Brickey of Adventures in Design was gracious enough to facilitate the conversation. We'll continue to release our Hotseat episodes form Portland and we're already forming some exciting ideas for the near future, but we'll get there when we get there. For now, we're gonna enjoy this vacation. Our goals for the show have not changed and we believe a time of rest and refocus will allow us to deliver in an even bigger way on our promise: to entertain, inform, and inspire.

We're excited to sit down this week with illustrator and "con" professional Alexander Iaccarino. Alex has barely made it into his hotel room before the conversation started; after learning more about his background, we talk about the world of slinging prints at a convention, finding your niche / building a following in this world and the impact of his grandfather on his work. Enjoy this episode and look forward to a big announcement on the next episode.
Here we come Popup Crop Portland! (Big thanks to Tranter Grey). But before the adventure starts tomorrow we're telling you about Christopher Robin, Three Identical Strangers, Decrypto, the Hellboy action figure, and "Baggage" from Clark Orr. There's something for everyone.
After meeting at Creative South we were positive we needed to talk with Hebah, and we're definitely glad we did. Hebah is a UI/UX designer who has learned to embrace her heritage and wants others to do the same.
Luke is gearing up for GenCon but before he leaves he is introducing us to Octopath Traveler and discussing the anticipated Scythe: The Rise of Fenris. Andrew starts by showing off his latest Funko Scrooge McDuck before walking us through StarFall and his three favorite D's (Dave Quiggle, Dan Hipp, Dan Grissom). Finally, Patrick goes on a bit of a tangent but ultimately settles in with a review of Eighth Grade. Shout to Black Dragon Press and Alamo Drafthouse.
Oh happy day! Today we are joined by our old old friend Luke! Kidding aside, LG is back up and running and bringing us a review of Cabinet of Curiosities and Eminent Domain. Additionally, we talk DRAGOON, The Death of Stalin, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Mission: Impossible - Fallout. It's a return to the normal with an injection of the current. Bless.
