Truth Reconstructed
Summary: I have the urge to write something wordy and presentable to you about the structure of this podcast and organization, but part of me is tired of creating hoop-la for people to have to read through the lines. So here it is in the simplest way I can explain it. Truth Reconstructed is a collaboration (still a big word) of True Family Men and Truth Built Women. What we aim to do is build strong families in the midst of life, love, heartache and triumphs. We want to address struggles and needs that are specific to men in the True Family Men podcast, and the venture into the heart of a woman and her needs in the Truth Built Women podcasts, sometimes we will come together and hash out life and love together in general in our Truth Reconstructed Podcast. We seek to have good conversations for you to listen to with people who are just like you and I. These people have dealt with various struggles many of us can relate to and found great personal Truths in the midst of pain to be able to triumph in this thing we call life. We hope that you can identify with these interviews and be able to tear down some walls of lies that have been built around your similar situations and begin to build on Truth again.

In this episode we talk about having a vision and goals for you life based on Proverbs 29:18-19 which says "Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, But happy is he who keeps the law" I stumbled across this verse and it really hit me hard when i realized I had not goals or vision set for my life. As I began to study deeper I found out that the word vision was cross referenced to 1 Samuel 3: 1-10 and discusses when the lord first spoke to Samuel and gave him a vision for the future. The word used in proverbs and Samuel refers to a revelation for God not just some vision or goal you come up with on your own that you believe will make you happy, successful, or good for you and your family. The type of vision I discuss come directly for God and is what you has called, created, and purposed you to do with your life. This episode talks about three ways the lord speaks a vision into your life. 1. God's Word. His word is living and is a guide for how to live our lives everyday. The lord speaks through his word through guidance of the holy spirit you can find many of life's answer just by having a daily discipline of reading his word. 2. Prayer. Sometimes we are to afraid to really ask God for something such as direction for our lives. I think it's important to give him your whole heart and tell him how you really feel, the perfect example is the psalmist David told God everything good and bad. 3. Desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 talks about the lord giving you the desires of your heart. I think this is so important for finding vision and goals because when you are seeking God and reading his word and praying the thoughts you have, desires, and ambitions, are coming from him because you are walking according to his purpose and not your own.
