Refracted Reflection is a drama encompassing both educational and comedic elements. Its story lines are intricate and thoughtful as well as relevant; showcasing varying levels of a myriad of aspects of the LGBTQ community: Fresh from her initial  Directorial Nomination by Detroit's Hotter than July 2013 Film Festival, Bermudian Tamicka "Tee Jay" Johnson's much anticipated Web series "Refracted Reflections" premiered Aug 31, 2013 at The Black Hollywood Pride Edition Party at The Loft@Centre Stage  A series unlike any that has come before it Refracted Reflections aims to fill the dearth of high quality LGBTQ television currently available for viewing. Distinguishing itself from its predecessors; its hallmarks feature artistic, high quality video, editing and talent. R & R is a drama encompassing both educational and comedic elements; highlighting important issues affecting not only the queer community but the world at large. Its story lines are intricate and thoughtful as well as relevant; showcasing varying levels of a myriad of aspects of the LGBTQ community while aspiring to present a diverse cast of characters rarely featured in LGBTQ entertainment.  It also has a prolific soundtrack of independent artists from Georgia and the wider U.S, Canada, United Kingdom and Bermudian artists. Tonight, the mastermind of Refracted Reflections, Tamicka "TeeJay" Johnson and the entire cast join us for our first show of the new year!  Maybe we can talk them out of some behind the scene secrets...TUNE IN!! 

Move The World Productions, LLC is a rising new full service production company with a commendable goal in mind. The founders, Johanna Mateo and Toni Tantlinger, are on a mission to help shape the growing negative stigma of our previous and future generations’ one topic at a time. Move the World Productions is already in production with its first feature documentary, titled “Becoming Nick”. The documentary will follow the life of Nicole, already becoming known through her circle as Nick. The film will depict his entire transitioning process (both internal and external), through therapy sessions, hormone injections and the surgery. The film will also follow his life that includes the work he does saving children from bad homes, as well as recount his personal struggles and stories growing up, with personal and untold life changing moments. Tune in as we talk one on one with the Move The World Productions, LLC founders.  

On December 1, 2013 Kari Rene Hunt was brutally murdered in front of her children ages 9, 4 and 3.  Kari's oldest daughter tried to call "911" from the hotel but didn't know that she needed to dial "9" first.   Kari's sister, Loni Fay Jeschke and father Henry "Hank" Hunt started a petition http://www.change.org/karislaw to require all hotels and motels to reserve "9" for emergency calls.   Back2Us Radio is committed to standing by the entire family--especially Loni.  Tune in tonight to hear the progress that has been made because you all cared enough to share; and, how we can support the family.

On December 1, 2013 Kari Rene Hunt was brutally murdered in front of her children ages 9, 4 and 3. She was killed by her estranged husband whom she was intending to divorce. She agreed to meet him at a local motel to leave the children with him for a short visitation. Her estranged husband, Brad Allen Dunn, apparently ambushed her in the motel room and cornered her in the restroom. During the struggle and resulting death of Kari, her oldest daughter,age 9, (name with held for privacy) attempted to dial 911 from the motel room phone. Community Connections is the weekly Friday afternoon show that spotlights independent artists, authors, and others in our community who are making a choice to light a single candle in the darkness.  Lez Elegance Incorporated re-launched its on-line magazine on April 5, 2013 after taking a hiatus to re-vamp the company.   “It is our goal to enlighten our readers to the positive aspects of the LGBT urban community,” explains the CEO of Lez Elegance Inc.   The on-line site features sections on entertainment, fashion, current trends, poetry, fashion, teen news and health. Lez Elegance Magazine will also print special quarterly editions for its readers. 

In this hour, feel free to drink some "T", spill some "T", embrace the "T", and last but not least,we will learn to understand and love the "T". If someone is venting on social media about how difficult it is to “pass” or how horrendous it is that no one takes them seriously when it comes to their transition, you see a slew of responses telling the poster that all will be well once they get their magical shot of “T”. Even if someone is just depressed in general, they are told that everything in their life will magically get better once they take hormones. It’s like the transgender community rewrote the famous Beatles song “All You Need is Love.” Tonight on Tye Spills the "T", Jayden Spann and Aryah Lester will join us to talk about their journey and share some practical advice on how we can all work together to suppot and empower each other.
