The resurgence of vinyl records not only makes music collecting cool again, but it's also inpsired people like Shawn and Taylor to make art from LP's. They've started a company, Skylinyl, combining the worlds or vinyl and skylines. It's a fun talk about how art inspires art and how to make a living without having to be MC Hammer selling mixtapes from your trunk.

Seth is co-creator a Lake Union escape room, Hourglass Escapes. His journey to get there involves monsters, robots, makeup and wax! We're back for another season, and Seth is the exact type of super fascinating Seattleite that I love talking to!

Who knew the captain of the Seattle Sounders FC loved kick flips so much?!

Mike Klay tackled the enormous task of organizing Flatstock 56 - a gathering of concert poster artists that takes place annually at Bumbershoot. An artist himself, he tells us about how the posters are made, displayed, and the travel some artists go through for the community.

Mike Jungers family business involves talking... talking super fast. They're auctioneers, and while we just make chicken noises with the occassional number in there like idiots in parody of their jobs, auctioneers have tons of nuance in their rattling calls. Mike helps me understand what goes in to selling stuff for people.

Alyssa, dressed in mid-summer flannel, is one of us! She's new on The End, but not new to hiking around in our forests, taking wiggling dogs to the dog park, or getting fired up about a Temple of the Dog reunion tour. Unlike most of us, she knows how to drive in the snow! Get to know her here.

Adam gave me my first demonstration on how live streaming internet works when covering local sports. Bootstrapper Studios are partners with Seattle Sounders, Seattle Reign FC, and more, but he wasn't always the sports enthusiast his business has taught him to be. Like any good pokemon, he's evolving!

Chris is the host of The Seattle Files podcast. It digs into the history of Seattle and spices up the topics by having local entertainers add their nonsense to the mix. It's a wonderful concept and a fun way to learn about why stuff is called stuff in Seattle. TheSeattleFiles.com

Jason Lundgren lives a portion of his life pumping quarters into a cabinet game we all know as bit of classic Americana: Pac-Man. In a quest to reach level 255 and maximum points totalling over 3 million, Jason hopes to give the world record holders a run for their money, but first he's gotta train. 

Like so many in the music scene, Steven grew up listening to 1077 the end, like so few - he ended up hosting a show here! Steven first put his name on my map with a ton of work in the Everett music scene before joining pepper to host locals only, let’s dig around and see who he is!

These two dudes are Seattle entreprenuers with a million ideas on how to make money AND the willingness to get it done. I first caught Mike on KIRO 7 debuting the Package Guard - a device to deter package theft from your front porch. These dudes have great energy - it's not wonder they get stuff done.

RC is one of the two organizers for Seattle Ska Fest 2016. He and Jesse picked up the reigns after the Seattle music community lost Greg Gibson at the beginning of the year. I had no idea that ska music thrived in the PNW and we'll have two nights 4/22-23 at the Highline Bar to find out just how strong it is!

The Seattle Sounders FC's season is off and running. This year it's not just new player names we have to memorize, the Sounders FC front office split the duties once handled by one man into the role of two teams. Longtime Seattle resident/soccer fan, Matt Johnson, steps into an opportunity of a lifetime for anyone who's dreamed of calling play by play sports as he steps up to the mic to handle broadcast duties on the FM dial in 2016.
