Stand by us as we bring you this week's episode featuring "Stand By Me" (1986)! We'll compare our current ratings after just watching the movie against our nostalgic ratings from last week. Will we stand by our nostalgic ratings???  42 | Boot Camp To A Camp Out | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:03:00

Gunnery Sergeant Emil Foley will make you drop down and give him twenty if you don't listen to this week's episode featuring "An Officer and a Gentlemen" (1982). We'll give our current ratings and thoughts after last week's nostalgic discussion. Then, we'll go back to 1986 and nostalgically discuss a movie about a group of young friends on an adventurous quest to find the body of a missing boy. And stay to the end as Mike educates us on what's involved when having your socks knocked off. Vital information you're not going to want to miss.

 41 | Kumite With A Little Mayo | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

Kumite! Kumite! Kumite! Kumite! This week, we give our current ratings and review of "Bloodsport" (1988) after our nostalgic discussion last week. We've watched it again and our opinions of this movie have changed. Did we rave or send it to its grave? Whatever happens, this is not one to be missed! We're going to drop back to 1982 after the break and talk about a man's struggle to become a Navy pilot. Can't tell you what it is yet, but one thing I can say... he ain't gonna quit; he's got no where else to go!

 40 | Blood Baths To Blood Sports | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:05:00

Ch-ch-ch-ha-ha-ha... in 3D! Can you believe it? It's that time again to review the next installment of the Friday The 13th movie series, "Friday The 13th, Part III" (1982) which was shown in 3D in theaters and you could buy the VHS with 3D glasses and "enjoy" the experience at home. We'll give our current ratings and commentary. Last week, we kept our nostalgic ratings on the low end. Can our current ratings after watching it get any lower?? Do 3D movies from the 80's look crappy??? We'll jump out of the horror genre after the break and get into some martial arts action but the blood shall remain. But, it's not just about the blood, it's about the sport. Listen to our nostalgic reviews of this movie from 1988 and chant the word! I know you know what it is!

 39 | Verdict: Death In 3D, Machete Style | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:11:00

We're back and unlike the movie we're discussing this week, "The Untouchables" (1987), we both proved to be very touchable as we both were down for the count with the flu the past two weeks. Now that we're healthy again, it's back to the mics and back to business. We'll break it down and give our current ratings for this movie now that we've watched it after all these years. Then it's time for the machete to be dusted off as we discuss our nostalgic memories and ratings for this movie from 1982 that was released in theaters in 3D and added another element to the shock value it already had going for it back in the day. Yup, it's the 3rd installment of a classic horror series.

 Totally Tubular Edition: 80’s Sitcoms | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:30:49

Shawn has succumbed to body ailments this week and left us with the release of another Totally Tubular Edition! Good news for you, but not so much for Shawn. While he recovers, please enjoy our look into 80's Sitcoms! We'll talk about our top 10 sitcoms and memorable moments. Some of these sitcoms started in the late 70's, but carried into the 80's even if it were just reruns. Their strongest moments were the 80's. Send well-wishes Shawn's way (shawn@hhp-podcast.com) and hope for a speedy recovery. We'll be back next week with a continuation from last week's episode and our review of "The Untouchables" (1987).

 38 | It’s The Dip For Capone | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:02:00

We've drawn up another episode this week featuring the cartoon/live action mix "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (1988). This successful movie of the late 80's was groundbreaking, but after 25 years, can the animation cells of years past hold up to today's CGI-coated movies? We'll break it down. Once Roger is cleared of all charges, we nostalgically talk about next week's movie. MC Hammer can't even touch this gangster movie from 1987. Look out, Capone!

 37 | Gekko Buys ACME Stock | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:10:00

Get out the Wall Street Journal and join us for this week's episode featuring "Wall Street" (1987) starring Michael Douglas and Charlie Sheen. We have a lot of fun talking about this movie even though we make factual errors throughout. Mike doesn't know what year the movie is made and tries to sound convincing he does and Shawn, who is known for being weak in the area of numbers, thinks he knows all about the U.S. market decline but clearly needs to brush up on the market history. Regardless of our errors and there are plenty, we had a good time with this one. After we crash and burn like the market did, we'll listen to a trailer for next week's animated/live action movie from 1988 and give our nostalgic review and ratings. Pa-pa-pa-pa-pleaaaase listen to the end and see if Mike's Superbowl prediction comes true!

36 | Chet Gets Good Tip On Bluestar | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:08:43

How would you like a nice, greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray? Not so appetizing? No worries! We're back with another exciting episode featuring "Weird Science" (1985) to wet your appetite. Does this movie have what it takes to keep us close to last week's nostalgic rating? We've watched it and now we're back to break it down. We'll get out of science and into finances with our nostalgic discussion of next week's crime/drama movie from 1987. Tune into to see if we take any stock in this movie.

 35 | Two Brothers And Two Geeks | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:14:16

Ten minutes to Wapner, but you'll have more fun listening to this week's episode featuring "Rain Man" (1988). Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman team up in this award-winning drama. We give our current ratings and review after last week's nostalgic discussion. Although we both agree the acting is top notch, we clash on whether or not Charlie Babbitt is able to go from a money-loving, mean guy who just wants his share of his dead father's millions to a loving, caring guy who finds a connection with his newly discovered autistic brother in the span of six days. Who's right? Listen and then let us know! We'll get into a nostalgic discussion of our next film from 1985 after we're done butting heads on Rain Man. It's another John Hughes classic. Two unpopular teens, a computer and some science.... weird science.

 34 | Druish Princesses Are Excellent Drivers | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:59:27

May the Schwartz be with you! We wish it was with us when we watched this movie after our optimistic nostalgic review from last week of "Spaceballs" (1987). Our current ratings are noticeably lower after watching this after all these years. We'll talk about what we think went wrong. After the break, we'll tune into 97X, BAM!... the future of rock 'n roll... and nostalgically review a drama from 1988 that will tug at your heart strings and toss in a little comedy to balance it all out.

 33 | Indy Uses The Schwartz | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:12:00

Welcome to the first episode of 2013! Happy New Year to everyone! We're starting the new year off with a big movie because we have a big year ahead of us! Listen as we talk about our favorite scenes from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1981). Last week, we both gave high nostalgic reviews. Now that we've watched it, we both increased our current ratings, but by how much? Tune in to find out! We'll change gears after our Indy discussion and go back to some slapstick comedy. The first time we did a slapstick movie, we took to the skies for "Airplane". This time, we're going into space. Know the movie we're referencing from 1987? The title of this episode gives you a clue!

 32 | There’s A Fly In My Ark | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:12:48

As the old nursery rhyme goes, "I know an old lady who swallowed a fly. Perhaps she'll die.", Jeff Goldblum's character, Seth, unknowingly gets molecularly fused with a fly during his first human teleportation test. What's his outcome going to be? Join us this episode as we discuss "The Fly" (1986), a re-imagined version of the original 1958 movie of the same name. We, then, nostalgically discuss the first movie of the new year we're bringing to you next week. It's a classic adventure movie from 1981 that many have tried to duplicate and also spawned several sequels. It's been a great year in a venture to deliver a quality podcast and we look forward to a new year of entertainment! So many movies to do. Thank you all for your support! Let's get nostalgic!

Totally Tubular Edition: Arcade Games | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:40:02

Happy holidays to all! This week, we're releasing one of our Totally Tubular Editions where we take a break from movies and talk about a topic from the 80's that affected both of us in our childhoods. You'll get to know more about us along the way. This Totally Tubular Edition is: Arcade Games! We're not talking home console games here. We're talking about your brick and mortar, dark, noisy, electric game room! Grab a roll of quarters and join us as we talk about the classics we loved.

 31 | Ebenezer Gets Bugged | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:09:25

In this week's episode, we return with our current review of "Scrooged" (1988). If Frank Cross (Bill Murray) heard this episode, he'd certainly give us a towel as a Christmas present. I think our nostalgic memories from last week got the better of both of us as we both feel this didn't hold up as well as we remember. But, it still had it's moments. Then, we'll move from one classic story re-telling to another with our nostalgic review of "The Fly" (1986) starring Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis. This is a re-imagined take on the original 1958 version. We'll talk about our memories and give our nostalgic ratings for this movie. Don't forget the "Name These 80's Movies" contest is still going on! You have until 12/18/2012 to enter! All you have to do is name the five short movie clips from 80's movies we'll play for you during this episode.
