"Cheers" was a smash hit back in the 1980's, and Wendt is still showing that he has what it takes to be in sitcoms. George joins a young and funny cast in the hit show, "Clipped" on TBS. "Clipped" centers on a group of barbershop coworkers who all went to high school together but ran in very different crowds. Now they find themselves working together at Buzzy's. The namesake of the shop belongs to George Wendt's character. He sold the shop, but asked to keep his chair. We speak with George about the new show, fatherhood, beer, and even asked him to reprise one of his famous "Saturday Night Live" characters.

He also learned a lot about the game under Coach John Smith where he played in college at Louisville. Branch was named the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XXXIX.  #145 - Ted Lange | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 38:43

Tommy Riles and Art Eddy bring on two guests for this week's Life of Dad Show. The first guest is Dr. Amy Kim and the second guest is actor and director Ted Lange. Baby Pibu was founded by Dr. Amy Kim, a board certified dermatologist and mother of two young children. Dr. Amy has numerous years of dermatology experience in her Atlanta-based practice. Her two children each experienced different skin issues as infants, and although she is a knowledgeable and experienced dermatologist, she found herself overwhelmed by the skin product choices on the market. She was also frustrated by the lack of information readily available to parents, a sentiment that many new parents experience. Through trial, error and her expert know-how, Dr. Amy identified the best ingredients to suit the individual needs of her children...and now she's passing them on to yours! Baby Pibu was born, and is now happily soothing the skin of babies everywhere. Next, the guys talk to actor Ted Lange, who is perhaps best-known for starring as Isaac, the lovable bartender on the hit series "The Love Boat" for ten seasons. What people may not realize is that he is also a TV and theatre director and an award-winning playwright. He is a historian and that really comes through in his books and plays. Ted is directing a play he wrote "The Journals of Osborne P. Anderson" which opens May 15th at Theatre, Theater in Los Angeles. This is the 3rd play in Ted's historical trilogy, which includes "George Washington's Boy" and "Lady Patriot". The plays educate audiences with vivid characters and historical facts from the rarely told black perspective. He has been writing and directing plays for over 30 years. "The Journals of Osborne P. Anderson" tells the story of John Brown and nineteen men who stormed Harper's Ferry in 1859 in an attempt to free the slaves of Virginia. The only survivor of the raid, Osborne P. Anderson, in his journals, chronicled the black men who fought with Brown -- Dangerfield Newby, John A. Copeland, Shields Green, and Lewis Leary. The raid on Harper's Ferry is considered by many to be the catalyst for Southern secession which ultimately led to the Civil War. The play combines Lange's signature drama and comedy as it peels away traditional stereotypes prevalent in the South before the Civil War. Also, his book, "Lady Patriot", is now available on Amazon.com. Based on a true story, Lady Patriot reveals an intimate look into the prejudices and patriotism of three ladies who lived during the Civil War. The book combines Lange's signature comedy and drama as it peels away traditional stereotypes prevalent in the South during the Confederacy.

 #142 - Sean Jensen | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 39:28

Tommy Riles and Art Eddy talk about Tim Tebow coming back to the NFL. They also talks sports with their guest, author Sean Jensen. What is your passion? If you looked up to someone in the field you wanted to work in would you contact that person? Well, Sean Jensen did just that. During his high school years Sean was living with his family in Virginia. He loved sports. He loved reading about sports in the Washington Post and USA Today. Two of his favorite journalists are Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser of the Washington Post. He'd ask them about what they wrote. He'd ask them about what they were going to write. Wilbon even gave Sean some career advice. Fast forward to his time right out of college he started working for a newspaper covering the Green Bay Packers. He went to fourteen Super Bowls for work. He got cover the Olympics. He got to cover The Masters. He was living the dream. He accomplished his high school goal of becoming a sports journalist. Then he gave it all up. What would make Sean leave his dream job? Fatherhood. When Sean saw that his son needed him around instead of covering the ins and outs of the NFL, Jensen left his career. He wanted to be there for his son and daughter. Being adopted and not knowing his biological father made him vow to make sure that if he had kids that he would be there for him. While reading to his kids Sean found that the books on athletes were not putting a spotlight on the person. Sean wanted to make children's books that focused more on the person than the athlete. He came up with a concept and worked with Chicago Bears great Brian Urlacher, to create the book, "Middle School Rules". We had the great pleasure of talking with Sean about the book, "Middle School Rules", fatherhood, and his passion for sports and journalism. Follow Sean on Twitter @seankjensen Get "Middle School Rules" here.

That was one of the reasons why he enjoyed their music right away. A few years back Art saw that Darius went out on his own with a solo Country album. Going into another genre of music must have been tough, but as you will see in the interview with Darius it wasn't that big of a transition.
