Near Death Experience:Two Death Experiences and A Conversation with God | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:03:00

Lewis Brown Griggs shares transformational perspectives on how our weaknesses can become our greatest strengths, and he has a remarkable personal story as well. Born of direct Mayflower heritage into privileged American aristocracy, his lifestyle reflected that ethnocentric value system. During the first of his two death experiences, on 3/11/77 took him into the Light and a Conversation with God. Lewis discovered that we are on earth to fulfill a particular purpose, and that he had not been on the right path. He was told that he must return to earth to teach people to appreciate diversity in our common humanity. Since then, his work has included teaching corporations that valuing diversity, relationship and spirit maximizes organizational effectiveness. His second NDE on 6/15/97… a white water river accident in which a 100-foot tree landed on his head as he was rafting on the river, resulting in a severe left-frontal-lobe Traumatic Brain Injury and 8-day coma from which he was unable to read or write or walk or talk and knew not who his parents or siblings or children or friends, or even who he was. Only a 10% or 30% or 50% plateau recovery was estimated. After three years of hospital rehabilitation and recovery at 70%, and now 17 years of progressive recovery at 90%, the learning from experiencing the natural process of Mind & Body & Spirit recovery enables him to help others understand the opportunity for Growth and Gratitude in their own recovery process. To learn more about the work Lewis was guided to do, visit his website at. www.griggs.com.

Coming to you live from Costa Rica and brought to you by the La Reserva Forest Foundation (LRFF). We invite you to participate in this most interesting and interactive show by calling in or participating in the "green" chat room. LRFF is working to solve climate change and lost resources by restoring the tropical forests in the "lungs of the world".  Climate change is our continuing topic. It's being caused by human activity not volcanoes, solar activity or a universal conspiracy. This is a platform for everyone to tell us your views on cc, ask questions about this most important issue. The majority of people are very uninformed about cc because it has become unmentionable in the mainstream media.  Talking about it is the first step to solving it.  As always great roots and culture music plus interesting Caribbean news and events.  Give us a call, get involved!  LIVE:How is internet/social media impacting our marriages/families/relations? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:03:00

How is the internet/social media impacting our marriages/families/relations? How is the internet/social media impacting our marriages/families/relations? Are we gaining or losing intimacy? Are we building or diminishing our connections? Let’s talk about it Remember, you are in the driver's seat. If online social networking is threatening to dominate your existence, maybe it's time you started giving yourself permission to say "no." If this doesn't come easy to you, stop and think about why this might be the case. Beware of finding personal worth and affirmation in the tally of your Facebook "friends." Don't allow yourself to give into subtle pressure to engage socially with groups or individuals who don't fit your "mission statement." Be willing to say "enough is enough" and to stick with your decision. There are also some practical measures you can implement to limit the amount of time you're spending with social media. One of them has to do with the number of devices you're using to access your account. Individuals who lack discipline may end up wasting a lot of time online if they're set up to access Facebook via phone, laptop, and iPad, as well as on a home computer. On the other hand, more effective time managers may actually save time by using a smart phone to log on during less-intrusive moments, such as while sitting in the doctor's waiting room. The key is to use the devices to serve your purposes and strategies rather than allowing them to dominate you.   http://family.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/26291/~/protecting-yourself-and-your-marriage-from-social-media-domination www.crsradio.com. www.carinneanradioshow.com 661-467-2407 #crsradio #craradio.com

The Celebrity Link- UNSUNG HEROES--TYRONE TAYLOR--CONTROVERSIAL BUT TALENTED | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:59:00

The Celebrity Link- UNSUNG HEROES--TYRONE TAYLOR--CONTROVERSIAL BUT TALENTED The Entertainment Celebrity Link Tyrone Taylor, the reggae singer whose 1983 song "Cottage In Negril" is considered a classic, died on Saturday, December 1st 2007. Producer Norman 'Bull Puss' Bryan, a close friend of Taylor's, said the singer died from prostate cancer in Kingston, Jamaica. The St. Elizabeth-born Taylor, who was 50 years old, had fallen on hard times. He suffered two strokes in recent years and spoke openly of a substance abuse problem that derailed a promising career. TYRONE TAYLOR... SINGER WITH A GOLDEN SWEET VOICE. Tyrone Taylor was born in Negril, Jamaica, in 1957. He first ventured in the studio at the tender age of 12 when he recorded "Delilah" for producer Joe Gibbs. The song surfaced in the UK on the flipside of Dennis Walks' hit "Having A Party", but being disappointed with the final result of his first recording Taylor drifted among some of Jamaica's top session men, learning to play a number of instruments. One of his most influential benefactors was Willie Lindo who encouraged him to persevere with a career in the music business. Taylor went on to record with a number of Jamaica's leading producers, notably with Winston "Niney The Observer" Holness and Jack Ruby, and was signed to Bob Marley's Tuff Gong enterprise. The singer with the golden sweet voice always seemed to do his best work under the direction of Niney the Observer. For him he recorded two Jamaican hits, "Just A Feeling" and "Sufferation", the latter featuring a special King Tubby mix. http://www.reggae-vibes.com/concert/tyronetaylor/tyronetaylor.htm www.crsradio.com , www.caribbeanradioshow.com 661-467-2407

Your Health In Your Hands ...The Secret of Essential oils-Lime,Ginger,Tea Tree | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

An essential oil is a concentrated hydrophobic liquid containing volatile aroma compounds from plants. Essential oils are also known as volatile oils, ethereal oils, aetherolea, or simply as the "oil of" the plant from which they were extracted, such as oil of clove. An oil is "essential" in the sense that it carries a distinctive scent, or essence, of the plant.Essential oils do not form a distinctive category for any medical, pharmacological, or culinary purpose. They are not essential for health. Essential oils are generally extracted by distillation, often by using steam. Other processes include expression or solvent extraction. They are used in perfumes, cosmetics, soaps and other products, for flavoring food and drink, and for adding scents to incense and household cleaning products. Essential oils have been used medicinally in history. Medical applications proposed by those who sell medicinal oils range from skin treatments to remedies for cancer and often are based solely on historical accounts of use of essential oils for these purposes. Claims for the efficacy of medical treatments, and treatment of cancers in particular, are now subject to regulation in most countries. As the use of essential oils has declined in evidence-based medicine, one must consult older textbooks for much information on their use. Interest in essential oils has revived in recent decades with the popularity of aromatherapy, a branch of alternative medicine that claims that essential oils and other aromatic compounds have curative effects. Oils are volatilized or diluted in a carrier oil and used in massage, diffused in the air by a nebulizer, heated over a candle flame, or burned as incense.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essential_oil. www.crsradio.com 661-467-2407 www.caribbeanradioshow@gmail.com

 I was just thinking..Tribute to Maya Angelou | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:58:00

Tonight we will celebrate the writing s of the great poet, writer and activist Maya Angelou. Many people know her by Phenomenal Woman and Still I Rise, but I want to read a few other poems to put her in a historical and personal context. Maya Angelou made her transition this week on May 28, 2014-many a program, newspaper article and television and internet show has been done in her honor. People have brought up her past up to the moment she breathed her last breath. I will not call it an obituary because the essence of the ancient understanding of an obituary is to speak well of God and not the body that lay before us or the spirit that inhabited it. That spirit was a part of the universal understanding of God, part and parcel of the essence of our creator as much as a drop of water from the ocean is a part of the who ocean. We will speak well of God in this show and we will speak well of gods voice through Dr. Maya Angelou and many other poets, writers and Griot’s that must not be forgotten.
