At BlogWorld 2010 in Las Vegas, Erin Lariviere, the Marketing/Community Manager for Tungle, discusses their new online service that bridges the gaps between the many calendaring systems on various platforms. Erin explains how using Tungle can allow you to continue using your current and preferred calendar while integrating their service to facilitate sharing and syncing with coworkers or clients on other calendar platforms.

From Macworld 2010, Peter Skinner of Ten One Design demonstrates Inklet, a Macworld Best-of-Show winner that turns the trackpad on your MacBook or MacBook Pro into a graphics tablet, suitable for sketching, creating and more. Software-based, Inklet lets you draw using many of your favorite graphics apps such as Photoshop rather than having to learn something new. Peter also shows off Pogo Sketch, a stylus for trackpads and touch screens that makes Inklet even more useful for finer, more detailed drawing.

In the Carina Software booth at Macworld 2010, Tim Debenedictis talks about the history of their astronomy software, Voyager, and how it has gone mobile as an iPhone app, SkyVoyager. The GPS and compass functions of the iPhone make it perfect for orienting yourself for nighttime observations, and SkyVoyager takes full advantage of that, providing a sky map of what is overhead from any position. In the Livescribe booth at Macworld 2010, Maureen Keating and Eric Petitt show off the latest enhancements to the Pulse Smartpen. How smart can a pen be? Eric takes us through both the basics, including both capturing notes and audio from whatever you are doing, transferring that information to your Mac and thirty apps that add even more functionality. New on the horizon is their iPhone app; Maureen explains how you can share Pulse Smartpen-generated materials to your iPhone via "pencasts," and take advantage of the iPhone interface to manipulate the data.
