Namaste' Beloved Yogis/Yoginis, Please enjoy the first (of hopefully many) kirtan offerings through Jai Prem Yoga. During this 15 minute heartfelt singing adventure we will be sharing in the two following chants: Om Shanti Om is the original and most powerful mantra. It is the primal sound of the Divine in its essential manifestation. In the beginning was the word, and the word was God. (OM) Peace. Lokah Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life, help to contribute in some way, to the happiness and freedom for all. Kirtan is a form of call-and response chanting. It is a form of Bhakti (devotion) yoga practice that reveals the heart of the practitioner. "Chanting the Names of God is one of the devotional practices that can dissolve the feeling of seperateness from the Beloved. Chanting utilizes the body, mind and emotions." ~Krishna Das

If you feel tightness in your legs or tension in your lower back, then this class is for you! When we fold forward it is said that we are folding into our past. Allow this practice to offer love and compassion to our previous experiences, and open ourselves up to limitless possibilities of our future moments. Enjoy with Blessings of Love.
