Jimmy couldn’t fill the void he felt in his heart a void that turned into a hatred. One day, he shot a man and was sentenced to the electric chair. On death row, Jimmy discovered life. In solitary confinement, he found a true Friend, and in 2020 he was granted parole. He now spends his life ministering to those in prison just like him.

After trying to run away nearly 40 times, he was sent to reform school where he then attempted to stab a teacher. As a young adult, he was in and out of jail for theft and even attempted manslaughter charges. He found the Lord at a Gideon bible study, and where reform programs had failed to transform him, the Bible did not. It changed his heart and set him free.

Her mom was in and out of the hospital due to mental illness and alcoholism. When she was home, things between Amelia’s parents were volatile. When she was gone, Amelia struggled without her mom and feared rejection. Her father disappeared in his work and when Amelia went to college, he too, started drinking. This sent Amelia’s sister into a break down that Amelia tried to help her recover from. As a young woman, Amelia didn’t know what to do with her life or how to find meaning. She took a second job working night shifts at a restaurant. It was here that she met, Chris, a chef who loved God and soon grew to love Amelia, too. Through long work shifts, walks around the city, dates and trips to church, they grew to understand each other’s stories and Chris introduced Amelia to the life-changing love of Jesus.

His father was prone to fits of anger, a habit Patrick would inherit. Patrick struck out on his own as a teenager and, though he was confirmed in the church, he wasn’t driven by any moral compass. He wouldn’t hesitate to steal candy, make fun of people, get in fights, and by the time he was 14, he was sleeping around with girls. When his girlfriend got pregnant, Patrick was terrified to tell his parents. They decided to give the baby up for adoption and Patrick moved on to different women in college. When he married Cindy and started a family, he still felt dissatisfied. His first affair was short: with a new teacher at school. But eventually he began an adulterous relationship that led him to move out of his house and consider following this woman out of the state. Patrick stayed with his family, begrudgingly at first, and then, upon discovering God’s redeeming love, he began to transform. Now, he’s still married to Cindy and the happiest he’s ever been.

God used a praying grandmother and an invitation to a Christian Christmas production to show him that he does have a choice between heaven and hell. After he surrenders his life to Christ, he forgives his step-father and begins a ministry to youth around the world.
