The uselessness of brown bread, David Fincher, the horror of confetti and bindis, the bird train, how politicians are like penises, a theory about the perceived misogyny of gay comedians, an legendary Adelaide entertainer, the Yumi controversy, what's coming in The Shelf live show in April and - well, it's an hour, there's a lot!

Shoddy phone network customer service, why you don't want family at your gigs, and the continuing saga of Jim Schembri (which you can catch up on at Crikey) Justin is still in Adealide, preparing for a gonzo gig with Wil Anderson, so is still on the phone. The audio quality may not be great, but the quality of the conversation is top shelf!

Justin is in Adelaide, but that is not going to stop him and Adam talking incessantly about Jim Schembri. Also, find out just what the embarrassing incident was that Justin had last week after the gym. It's a bit of a hodge podge this week. Gatesy hasn't turned up, so we don't know how his gig went. (Alright, he was busy with a legitimate excuse) Tegan, however, is ready to spill the beans on her beans being rattled by boxing gloves. That's right, we find out how her first boxing bout went! Some of that is a little confronting, but not as confronting as when The Shelf Cast spills over into Poofcast and Helliar and Hammo Dig Flicks territory. Be warned! Adam & Justin get terribly sidetracked this week. For some reason it involves Tegan getting punched in the face, Julia Morris being the funniest thing on TV, Gatesy being a flake, and European Man's obsession with a park in Adelaide.
