We have Fleety performing at The Shelf tonight (Monday August 12) and we have to do a special errand, so we're podcasting in Adam's car again. This somehow involves a lot of talk about Doctor Who (naturally), comics, boycotting Olympics, breaking up with tv shows, and then WE MEET FLEETY! So we have a special guest appearance by Greg Fleet talking about exercise books, Men Bendelsohn, playing a prison rapist and Ryan Gosling.

Justin and Adam on the day of the announcement of the new Doctor Who, the day after an election is called. So of course we're lamenting that we don't understand physics. We sing Beyonce. We try to cast the new Batman. Justin wants women to smile at him. Then we start a political party and it gets all nutty and Doctor Who-ey, including the terrifying adventure Decoupage of the Daleks.

Joining Justin and Adam in this highlights package from the third week of The Shelf Season 6 (2013 Melbourne International Comedy Festival) are Lehmo and Wil Anderson. Lehmo gets to see Celia Pacquola's impression of him, Wil recounts a blinder of a story he heard from Molly Meldrum and the stage is, once again, invaded by Luke McGregor.

It's another PodCARst as Adam drives Justin home from Adelaide. Well, from the airport. We are excited about the new season of The Shelf, writing new material, singing putrid parodies of songs, making Tom Gleeson laugh, what's going on in Adelaide comedy, Port Power vs Adelaide Crows, the disappointing Aussie cricket team, Mickey D's scrotum and Adam is very excited about The Wolverine. Justin and Adam are joined by Rob Hunter to talk about Man of Steel*. A lot. Somehow, in Adam's mind, this also involves talking about butt plugs and Gypsy (the musical). Justin is back from the USA and he's been to see a lot of jazz. We talk about Doctor Who. Again. A lot. Somehow we relate it back to jazz. Justin reveals that Adam has just been an arsehole to someone in the hallway outside. He also reveals some gobsmacking gossip about plot developments in - oh, we're back to talking about Doctor Who again. Justin has watched Masterchef, and he's not entirely happy about that experience. Mostly, however, we ruminate over Doctor Who, and who could possibly play him.

We're back in Hammo's kitchen, and it doesn't even feel like two months since the last one... We pretty much talk about NOTHING but Doctor Who. Well, we talk about some other things, like Justin's Lego melting, and Adam's gaynal work colleague, but it's about 85% Doctor Who. It goes for an hour. Strap in!

Justin is back from Afghanistan and Adam can finally talk about his new TV show. Tangents aplenty, but a lot about both of those things.
