Summary: Most independent minded Americans realize that Washington DC is corrupt, and is run for the administrative convenience of Wall St. banks and multinational corporations. Republicans and Democrats have let us down time and time again. If the United States are to remain free and democratic, we must save our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Don't let the corporate media and the special interests tell you how to think! They demonize any restraint on federal authority (like Constitutionalism, states-rights, fully informed juries, and the OathKeepers) as racist, extremist, or seditious! Why? Because they are authoritarians at heart who want to run your life and take your money on behalf of the wealthiest people on earth. Ron Paul is America's leading voice for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. If you are disgusted by what corporate interests have gotten away with in recent years, you must understand that it wouldn't have been possible without government complicity. A small government cannot pass out favors to cronies, and therefore representatives are less likely to be corrupted. Don't allow the media to convince you that libertarian ideals are quaint, bizarre, or anachronistic. Don't allow the likes of the ADL and Southern Poverty Law Center to get away with saying that you're a racist if you believe you've been taxed enough and you think the borders should be secured. Dr. Paul represents a return to common sense in government, and to the freedom that allowed such great prosperity in our country. So take a listen to Congressman Paul's words as he is interviewed by the media, gives speeches to students and supporters, and debates ideological foes. At the end of a long night- after finishing a strong 2nd place in the Minnesota caucus- Rep. Ron Paul spoke to a crowd of activists and supporters at The Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley, MN. Congressman Ron Paul spoke to Minnesota caucus goers prior to voting at the Maple Grove Junior High in Maple Grove, MN. The presidential candidate spoke at the Minnesota Senate District 32 Republican caucus, promoting his platform of less government and telling voters there that now was their chance to take their country back! On Tuesday afternoon, Rep. Ron Paul joined GCN syndicated host Jason Lewis to talk about the presidential campaign and tonight's contests in Minnesota, Colorado, and Missouri. The two then briefly discuss the Susan G. Komen/Planned Parenthood funding controversy. For the first time this cycle, the Congressman is sounding a bit despondent in today's interviews- get out and vote if you are in these states!
For the second time today, Dr. Ron Paul returned to the airwaves of the Twin Cities' News Radio WCCO- this time to talk with John Williams about the Minnesota caucus. The discussion turns to mostly social issues, including gay marriage, the federal government's insistence upon promoting contraception and abortion, and a progressive spate of issues being taken up legislatively through ballot initiatives. Dr. Paul expressed astonishment at the low turnout in Nevada on Saturday, and wondered if the thing would ever get sorted out in the Silver State. Conversation turned to the Ron Paul youth movement, the current apathy of the conservative movement at large, and the debt crisis this nation faces.

On Sunday morning, Ron Paul appeared on ABC's This Week with (the condescending one) George Stephanopoulis. The host did his best to throw a wet blanket on any perceived progress achieved by the campaign, exemplified by ABC's name for the video/article about Dr. Paul's interview: "Ron Paul: 'Hard to Say' When He Will Win A GOP Caucus or Primary." The Congressman talked about the plan to do well in the upcoming Colorado, Minnesota, and Maine caucuses, and the intellectual revolution taking shape amidst the next generation.
The Nevada caucus took place across the Silver State on Saturday, yet the relatively small number of statewide votes have still not been counted in entirely at the time of this posting! Can anyone say, incompetence (Iowa all over again)? Something tells me the Nevada caucus will be in the news for awhile. One thing is for certain- Mitt Romney came away with yet another convincing victory in the race for the GOP nomination. At this time, Dr. Ron Paul trails Newt Gingrich by about 700 votes for second place (with 90% of the state reporting). Current caucus tallies can be accessed through Google. Not content with waiting around for the results of the Nevada caucus, Ron Paul traveled on to another early caucus state to speak with the students and supporters at Bethel University in Arden Hills, Minnesota. Another young, enthusiastic crowd filled the 1500 seat auditorium to hear the Congressman rail against big government and irresponsible federal spending. The Congressman did not otherwise deliver Nevada caucus victory/concession remarks. The speech, which was aired in large part on CNN and MSNBC, showed Ron Paul at his best- defiant, determined, and purposeful (reminded me of the Rally for the Republic delivery). Congressman Ron Paul attended a rally in Las Vegas on Friday in support of Filipino American Veterans from World War II. At the Leatherneck, Paul pledged his support for HR 210, the Filipino Veterans Fairness Act. The Congressman deviated from his standard stump speech and focused on his support of the bill while emphasizing his efforts as a congressman to find lost medals and commendations for veterans.
