Oh. Leica. When the M9 just will not do! Leica has introduced the M Monochrom. As the name suggests, this hella expensive body shoots only in black and white. Have a listen as we briefly discuss what we know of this camera so far. Back in Action After a few weeks away, we finally found our way back to the Shutter Time bunker. We missed you guys! In this episode, we catch up and dish over a few things which have grabbed our attention … NAB – Vegas, Baby!   LEE Filters The end is almost here … I’m am so close to wrapping it up with all things LEE filters. You’ll hear why in this episode! Huzzah! Fujilicious  There are nothing but smiles here in the Shutter Time bunker as we swoon over the Fuji X-Pro 1. I personally blame Kai from DigitalRevTV, but that’s just me. Speaking of Kai …  We chat about our favourite YouTube photography host / presenter. He’s definitely worth checking out, as with his own wonky style, he brings humour to photography! Outdoor Photography In episode 21, we discussed landscape photography and a few of the main accessories. Today we chew over a list of basic accessories for you, your gear as well as good ol’ safety measures / accessories. I forgot to mention a couple items at the top of my list on the show (whoops!), so here we go: Lenscoat ~ an excellent way to dress up your gear and protect it from the outdoor elements. I have just about everything of mine protected in these neoprene products and it has helped keep my gear in tip top shape. The right camera bag ~ there are so many to choose from, but having the right bag for your gear as well as your body is essential. Always On Our Minds The Fuji X-Pro 1 is never far from our minds over here in the Shutter Time bunker. Ooh, Canon. Not 5 months after announcing the release of the 1D-X, the much anticipated successor to the 5D Mark II (circa 2008) was finally announced! Enter the Canon EOS 5D Mark III. Are you swooning yet? We chew over some of the features from this newest kid on the block. Lightroom 4 After a short beta testing period, this bad boy finally hit the shelves, so to speak. Not So Old Cliches  The best camera is the one you have with you! We hear this time and time again and it’s a topic long debated by photographers (and iPhone camera app developers) everywhere.
