 Diary of a BROKE Brutha: Can I get a chance? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:44:00

Grown Soul and Real Talk Live forum Should a woman look past a mans destitute financial situation when dating him? Love is suppose to be priceless Right? Member question: I saw the article about giving a "broke brutha" a chance, and I gotta say I was disappointed. I am 41yrs old, an IT professional who had a good job, home, car, etc. My company did a mass lay off and I lost my job. I looked for a job everyday, all day- and even took a job as a cab driver in the meantime. I ended up losing my home, health insurance and a lot of other things. I finally landed a great job two months. I can't tell you the number of times I was dissed by women because of my situation--judged me for what I have or didn't, instead of who I am. Careful judging too tough, ladies--that was a temporary setback for me I'm a good guy with ambition. How come some could not see past my situation when love is suppose to be priceless?  An evolution of sexality:Have we become an oversexed nation? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:43:00

GSRT Wednesday Night live forum From pedophiles and sexual predators to date rape registered sex offenders; are these a result of our growing increasingly over sexed culture? Has the convenience of internet media, and the constant fixation of sexual imagery of tv, movies, and videos caused over exposure to the younger generation of hyper sexual activity? Which in turn, is creating a new generation of sex addicts and encouraging the misogynist view of women? And because of the increased exposure to sex in marketing and the media in general, is this a reflection of are need for instant gratification? Or is the cause of broken dead in relationships ie booty calls, jumpoffs, and affairs? How we have gone from tupperaware parties to passion parties or sex toy parties? Is prostitution a viable business that should be legalized and regulated? How has the P0RN industry become  a multi-billion dollar industry? Why are there so many women that put themselves thru college stripping?  The Curious case of the Religion-LESS child | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:01:00

GSRT Wednesday night live forum We have two kids that are 14 and 16. We have always raised our kids in the church, the same way we were. Our older daughter came to us and said that she no longer wants to attend our church. She feels it no longer makes sense to her and wants to explore other religions—she is searching. We took her to our pastor and he’s been meeting and talking with her, but she feels the same. My husband said “no”— she will keep going to church with us, but I feel at 16 if she is conflicted, and has talked with our pastor and still feels this way, we should let her explore it. My husband and I have been arguing behind closed doors about it, meanwhile he has been making her go to church but she just sits there and barely participates anymore. I'm stuck between my husband and daughter - any advice how to work through this?   Mature Talk for Mature Times, this is an open dialogue for Men and Women of all ages, open communication and straight forward talk.  From Jumpoffs to Marriage ; Does the end justify the means? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:35:00

If a woman or man’s  path to matrimony/monogamy is filled with relationship casualties, does the end justify the means? Can he be called a good man if he did some doggish or player things to women before he decided to get good? Is reasonable to think that she still a good woman if her past relationships have always been dysfunctional or she has been just using guys to fulfill her needs? What if doing the not-so-good things was the only way he or she would have even had the wherewithal to be good?  Why do men think there are so many relationship options? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 03:00:00

GSRT Wednesday Night Live   Member Question: Why do men think there are so many relationship options out here for them when in reality there aren't. There is always tons of talk about what a woman needs to do to get and keep a good man but I feel like men do not look at themselves. No self respecting woman with any real morals, values and knows her worth is just available to any loser who comes along. If a man keeps walking away from relationships and thinks he is in complete control then he is fooling himself into believing he's gonna find what he's looking for. In reality he has a warped sense of what love is and will forever be single just like the women he's always talking about. I guess what I mean is, there are good women and there are bad women. The loser women are in abundance and are available to you but Mr please believe that to grab one of the really good ones, you're going to have to look at SELF and stop always talking that shit about what a woman needs to do. Member Statement: If you are married, but you're not in love with him, then move on. Life is too short, to be staying because you don't want to hurt anybody. You are worth making the change, to be happy. He hears all, sees all and knows your true feelings. We have a forgiving God!  I want to be with you baby, but my money’s not right | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:17:00

GSRT Wednesday Night Live A  friend of mine has been with her man for about 8 years  off and on, they’re like best friends, and in her mind now that he's out of a previous marriage, has a good job and back on his feet, he’s going to marry her like they always talked about. He needed her back when he was going thru his divorce and his ex-wife nearly bankrupted him and he had been laid off of work. And he told her I want to be with you baby, but my money’s not right.  When his ex-wife put him out, my friend leased a 2 bedroom townhouse for him. She brought him food and put it in his fridge, paid his some of his bills to fix his credit score and even helped him with the back child support payments he owed.  And now that he is back on his feet he acting like he does not want to be with her. Always disappearing and she can't find him when they have plans to go somewhere or do something.  Why did he use her like that? His money not being right stop him from running up in her raw every chance he got? And despite that excuse he still got all the husband privileges, without giving her the wife title.  WHY GSRT? Tell me why and how could this man do this? Why couldn't he just be up front and tell her truth if he  really did not want her?
