Today, as we do every Tuesday, we discuss the latest news concerning the disability community. Today we talk about a Massachusetts woman who withheld 5 months of cancer medication to her son after he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 2006. He died in 2009 at age 9. She now faces a maximum sentence of 20 years on the attempted murder charge, 10 years on a charge of assault and battery on a disabled person, five years on assault and battery on a child causing substantial injury and 2½ years on reckless endangerment of a child.

Today we discuss the Barry Bonds steroid trial, along with Manny Ramirez retiring following a possible 100 game suspension for steroids. We'll also talk about the Phillies hot streak to begin the season, and where we see the Sixers and Flyers advancing in their respective playoff series.
