Summary: Today, as we do every Tuesday, we discuss the latest news concerning the disability community. Today we talk about a Massachusetts woman who withheld 5 months of cancer medication to her son after he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 2006. He died in 2009 at age 9. She now faces a maximum sentence of 20 years on the attempted murder charge, 10 years on a charge of assault and battery on a disabled person, five years on assault and battery on a child causing substantial injury and 2½ years on reckless endangerment of a child.
