Mormon Hierarchy Serve/Profit From Caffeinated Coffee | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:01:59

I called up the Polynesian Cultural Center(PCC) in Laie, Hawaii in order to verify that they do indeed serve caffeinated black coffee(and caffeinated Pepsi, which can’t be found on BYU’s campus), since everyone has called me a liar!! When I say “everyone”, I’m of course referring to MORmONS & MORmON apologists!! Black caffeinated coffee is being served by BYU-Hawaii students 6 days a week & 100% violates their so called “Word of Wisdom!” I’ve been there myself folks & I’ve seen it on the menu(I was shocked!) & I’ve included the picture above & here’s the link to their current menu, so that anyone can look it up online as verification that I’m telling THE TRUTH & NOT LYING & I strongly encourage you to do it! It’s located towards the bottom of the page I just linked to.

 Ballard-Utah South Area-9-13-2015 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:41:03

This is an audio recording of Mormon Apostle M. Russell Ballard’s 9/13/2015 Utah South Area Talk. Deseret News coverage: http://www.deseretnews.com/article/865636709/Elder-Ballard-speaks-to-Utah-South-Area.html Transcript: https://www.lds.org/prophets-and-apostles/unto-all-the-world/to-the-saints-in-the-utah-south-area?lang=eng Here is an excerpt, talking about those that leave the church & why(a clue..SATAN of course): When someone stops doing these simple but essential things, they cut themselves from the well of living water and allow Satan to muddle their thinking. Sin and guilt cloud the mind—leading them to deny past inspiration and revelation and causing a “de-conversion” from the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ. One thing that is constantly on my mind is knowing that individuals who don’t stay focused on the simple doctrine and gospel of Christ will eventually listen to false teachers and self-declared prophets and adopt worldly philosophies. These alternative voices include: -The allure of prideful wealth -Recreation and entertainment that can take away from the goodness of the gospel -Not observing the Sabbath day -Viewing podcasts and Internet sites that raise questions and doubt without being intellectually honest and that do not adequately and honestly present the Lord’s perspective.

Sacred Mormon Garments | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

This show is from Radiowest, by Doug Fabrizio, NOV 12, 2014. Description on Radiowest: Late last month, the LDS Church published a video to explain a Mormon practice that has been a curiosity for outsiders: the Temple Garment. It’s underclothing worn by faithful members and is considered a sacred symbol of their religious commitment. Wednesday, our guest is religion scholar Colleen McDannell. We’re talking about the temple garment: its history, the way Mormons have incorporated it into their daily lives and how these and objects of various faiths connect the believer to the divine. Watch "Sacred Temple Clothing" published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkTz_NQqKA8 Colleen McDannell is professor of History and Sterling M. McMurrin Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Utah.  The LDS/Mormon Church and Joseph Smith's Polygamy | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

This show is from Radiowest, by Doug Fabrizio, DEC 4, 2014. Description on Radiowest: It may not be breaking news that LDS church founder Joseph Smith practiced polygamy. And yet, many were shocked when the church released an essay last month acknowledging the ages, number, and marital status of Smith’s wives, including a 14-year-old girl. Thursday, we’re examining how Mormons have reacted to the essay. We'll examine how common conception of Smith's plural marriages contrasts with reality, and we'll ask whether Smith's actions compromise the infallibility of the church's prophets. GUESTS- Patrick Mason, Howard W. Hunter Chair of Mormon Studies, Claremont Graduate University Andrea Radke-Moss, Professor of women's history, BYU-Idaho Richard Turley, Assistant Church Historian and Recorder, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints http://radiowest.kuer.org/post/lds-church-and-joseph-smiths-polygamy

Seer Stones | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

This show is from Radiowest, by Doug Fabrizio, AUG 11, 2015. Description on Radiowest: Tuesday, we’re talking about seer stones, the instruments Mormons believe Joseph Smith used to translate the Book of Mormon. Last week, the LDS Church published a photo of one stone, likening it to Biblical objects that helped people “communicate spiritually.” Historians Matthew Bowman and Benjamin Park join us to explain how these types of objects were used in early 19th century America (it wasn’t just the Mormons). We’ll also ask what role these stones played in the development of Mormonism and what they tell us about the idea of revelation. Read the article Joseph the Seer, Ensign Magazine, October 2015: https://www.lds.org/ensign/2015/10/joseph-the-seer?lang=eng Guests:(both believing Mormons) Matthew Bowman teaches history at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He specializes in 19th century American Christianity, and is the author of The Mormon People: The Making of an American Faith Indiebound: http://www.indiebound.org/book/9780812983364?aff=RadioWest Amazon-Link on Radiowest. Benjamin Park is a Postdoctoral Fellow in History at the University of Missouri. He studies religion and intellectual history of the early American republic.
