Even though we sit here having played music from 390 releases this year, we feel a bit uneasy producing a 'best of' 2018 when there's still so much great music we haven't heard. Across the first ten tracks we take in a third play from the 700 Bliss cassette, Anna von Hausswolff's sublime LP, middle eastern techno, Kenya glitches, a track from a ballet and a lot more. More great highlights coming next week... just don't call it a best of.
