 Our Commitment to U.S. Manufacturing | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:06:00

Today is an exciting day. We are really proud to share Walmart’s new commitment of an additional $350 billion in the future of U.S. manufacturing, which will support more than 750,000 new American jobs with products made, grown or assembled in the United States. One of the great companies we’ve partnered with is Techtronic Industries. John Furner recently visited Anderson, SC, and met with Steven Scheyer who serves as Global President for TTI. Steven joined John on The Huddle to talk about his history working with Walmart and the difference we’re making for his company and in his community.

The Bo Show: A Walmartabulous Day | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:17:31

Bo kicked off Rollback Wednesday by celebrating Associate Caller of the Day, Melissa from Store 1395 in Centralia, Illinois. She shouted out her phenomenal Fresh CAP1 team and wished Bo a Walmartabulous day. We’re using that word from now on, Melissa! Bo’s Impossible Question of the Day asked what 80% of people under 30 say it’s impossible to do. (We here at Walmart and Sam’s Club Radio certainly agree. Listen for the answer.) Clora from Store 197 in Macomb, Illinois, took Bo back to his days doing store and club remodels, with a shoutout for her team working through a remodel. Bo recognized an incredible group of associates celebrating Walmart milestones: Audrey from Store 1444 in Jacksonville, Florida, celebrating 30 years, Theresa from Club 8247 in Homewood, Alabama, celebrating 35 years and Milton from Store 618 in Hiram, Georgia, celebrating 35 years. And, Tyler stopped by to celebrate “What’s Good” around Walmart. Listen to all that plus news, Detective Product, shoutouts and more. Hit play now!

LIVE with Antonio: Throwback Jams and Calls from Sam’s (Club) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:40:30

It’s a Rollback Wednesday, so you know the hands of time are tossin’ back and the old school jams are tossin’ on. Elijah from Store 297 in Porter, Texas, was our Associate Caller of the Day. Jane and Vonnie from Club 5304 in Indianapolis, Indiana, also called in to chat with Antonio, mostly because they wanted that positive energy to get through the rest of the day! A huge shoutout to you two. You got this! The Social Media Highlight of the Day went to Store 2441 in Hamilton, Ohio, where Mary just celebrated her 30-year anniversary with Walmart! Way to go, Mary! In Did You Know? the guys asked how many minutes of exercise it takes to burn off one can of Coke. For a hint, check out today’s sports segment: Antonio thinks this guy’s the GOAT. Tune in for all that and more on Rollback Wednesday! Hit play!

The Bo Show: Dadgum That's Good | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:20:10

Today is National Peanut Butter Lover’s Day, the one day of the year “chunky” and “smooth” people can both agree on. Bo and Iyube talked about how Travis Scott went into “Sicko Mode” for a good cause and donated 50,000 meals to Houston residents affected by the power outage. Also Justin Beiber turned 27, which is still less than the number of tattoos he has. Bruce from Store 1172 in Jacksonville, Florida, was our Associate Caller of the Day and gave a shoutout to his whole store and to our Sam’s Club family members who are now able to tune in LIVE from the clubs. In Milestone Minute, Heather stopped by to celebrate Brenda at Store 138 in Springfield, Missouri. Brenda’s been at Walmart for an outstanding 40 years, which is 1.48 times longer than Justin Beiber has been alive. Speaking of age, "agelast" was our featured word in our Say Word segment. No, it doesn’t refer to the Fountain of Youth. It actually means someone who never laughs, which according to Bo and Iyube describes what it’s like to watch The Bachelor. Other highlights included an associate story from Aaron at Store 288 in Woodland, Texas, old school Nintendo, and Bo’s Minnesota accent don't cha know. Be sure to tune in!

LIVE with Antonio: The Start of Something New | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:31:28

It’s also national ‘Dadgum That’s Good Day,’ which we like, because it can apply to almost anything. Watch: Antonio launched his new show, LIVE with Antonio, and welcomed all of Sam’s Club into the fold. Dadgum that’s good! The Social Media Highlight of the Day went to the digital team at Store 3339 in Vineland, New Jersey, and to Angie at Club 4987 in Longmont, Colorado, for a beautiful display of summer and Easter dresses.  The Bo Show: Five Weddings | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:22:18

No Format Friday kicked off with the musical styling of Iyube. He broke into a soothing rendition of, “When a Man Loves A Woman,'' that the audience won’t soon forget. Even if they want to! Bo and Iyube didn’t stop there. They also wished Michael Bolton a happy birthday and gave him props for his silky tenor tone. Matt from Store 558 in Salina, Kansas, was our Associate Caller of the Day. He gave a shoutout to his store manager, Bob, on his last day. Thanks for your service, Bob! Bo also gave a special shoutout to The Bo Show’s engineer, Scott, who just became a grandpa! In additional special occasion news, Iyube realized he is going to have to pay for five weddings. We suggest, “When a Man Loves a Woman,” as your father-daughter dance! And you can sing along, Iyube! In Milestone Minute, the team gave a shoutout to both Connie at Store 1264 in Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Pearl from Store 1362 in Destin, Florida, for 30 years of service! Thank you both! In a game of Yes or No Way Bo, we had a repeat caller, Quinton from Store 45 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He called earlier in the show to hear the “Walmart Shuffle” and then called back to play. His persistence paid off! Additional highlights included Celebrity Chit Chat, where Bo spoke with the legendary Backstreet Boys, gave more headlines and presented a very selfless Impossible Question of the Day. Tune in now!

 Night Show w/ Antonio: Once Upon a Time… | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:31:14

Antonio and Iyube are live, live, live in the studio on a No-Format Friday, which also happens to be National Tell a Fairy Tale Day. Don’t mind if we do. Once upon a time, an associate named Belle from Store 1289 in the enchanted land of Jacksonville, North Carolina was named our Associate Caller of the Day. It was a great honor, which she used to wish a Happy Birthday to her friend Michael! In news of the day, a great bard from beyond the seas, Post Malone, recorded a cover of ‘Only Wanna Be With You’ by Hootie and the Blowfish. But the bard went beyond, changing the words from the original song, suggesting he often cries over “the Cowboys.” Even the mythical Dak Prescott can’t save some teams. In our Social Media Highlight of the Day, associates from around the company are climbing the beanstalk – listen in to celebrate promotions with Latasha, Sandra and Kim! Join us for all that, plus Friday Feud and Did You Know? on this No Format Friday!

 Why Walmart? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:13:48

Rachel Brand grew up in a small town in Iowa, graduated from Harvard Law School, began an amazing career as an attorney, was appointed to the Department of Justice - and now she’s our EVP of Global Governance, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary. Wow! Her teams oversee everything from food safety and healthcare compliance to global security, aviation, and our Emergency Operations Center. Working at Walmart wasn’t something she planned to do, but her advice is to always be open to new opportunities. She saw how passionate we are about doing good for people in the world and wanted to be a part of it. Hear from her in this new episode of The Huddle with John Furner.

The Bo Show: Stop and Smell the Axl Roses | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:11:46

Today is National Tortilla Chip Day, and Bo asked how you say “tortilla.” We like to say there are no wrong answers, but there’s definitely a right one. Bo shared Axl Rose is appearing as a guest on an episode of “Scooby-Doo and Guess Who.” Turns out, Shaggy, Scooby and Axl go all the way back to the Sunset Strip days. Michqela from Store 2605 in Gallipolis, Ohio, was our Associate Caller of the Day. She gave a shoutout to the entire store and pharmacy. Tyler stopped by to talk about pharmacists and associates who have been helping with the COVID-19 vaccine. We are so grateful for everything they’re doing, and they deserve a round of applause from all of us. Not to be outdone by Scooby and his gang of mystery solvers, Jerrod from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, cracked the Detective Product case! He gave a shoutout to his coworkers for supporting his super sleuthing. Bo’s Impossible Question of the Day asked: What do 94% of Americans say they don’t do anymore in 2021? There’s a good chance the answer remains unknown. Be sure to tune in with some chips and salsa to listen to all that and more.

Night Show w/ Antonio: Throwin’ Back the Hands of Time | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:31:46

Antonio started the show mixing metaphor and modernity, where TikTok’s earliest trend (throwin’ it back) meets the march of time on a Rollback Wednesday. Our Associate Caller of the Day was team lead Ashley from Store 1155 in Lumberton, North Carolina. She sang some Black Eyed Peas and gave a shoutout to the overnight associates. In news, iconic dance duo Daft Punk have called it quits after 28 years. The pair helped define an entire genre, giving us one more time to lose ourselves to dance, time and again. Our Social Media Highlight of the Day featured the “cobra team” at Store 2174 in Westfield, Massachusetts for their skill in wax on, wax off. Watch out, Mr. Miyagi! And you can get ready for today's National Tortilla Chip Day by sparking an impassioned discussion in your own home on the best toppings for nachos, and then making some. Join us for all that, plus Did You Know, This or That and some glorious throwback jams. Hit play!

The Bo Show: Metal Elevator Music? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:15:06

It’s National Cook a Sweet Potato Day, but if you haven’t thrown one in the oven by now, it’s probably too late to start now. Bo discussed Metallica’s surprisingly not metal BlizzCon concert on Twitch. Due to copyright issues, when they played their hit "For Whom The Bell Tolls," the sound was replaced with what amounted to elevator music. Apparently, the bell tolls for everyone except people on Twitch. The Associate Caller of the Day was Regner from Store 2180 in Danvers, Massachusetts. He gave a rousing shoutout to all of his managers. Danielle from Store 2404 in San Antonio, Texas; Sophia from Store 100 in Bentonville, Arkansas; Sarah from Store 699 in Oxford, Mississippi; and Jeff “The Chatman” from Store 4168 in Beebe, Arkansas, provided some additional high energy shoutouts to fellow associates. In Milestone Minute, Heather talked to Julianne from Club 6220 in Slidell, Louisiana, about celebrating 35 years. Congrats, Julianne! Listen now to see if you can guess Bo’s Impossible Question of the Day which asked: In the U.S., 4,500 people a year injure themselves using what? Hint, the right answer is actually the No. 2 answer.

Night Show w/ Antonio: Sweet Sauce! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:24:34

This Motivational Monday is about to get cooking! How else would you celebrate National Cook a Sweet Potato Day? Go and get those potatoes, put them in the oven and enjoy their sweet scrumptious insides! Antonio gave a sweet shoutout to our Associate Caller of The Day, team lead Dillon at Store 2167 in Exton, Pennsylvania. Stay warm out there, Dillon! In more sweet and warm news, Starbucks is offering a St. Patrick's Day treat over the next month, the Shamrock Tea. It's going to be featured on their “secret menu,” but instead of getting green with envy, get yourself a cup of tea and enjoy the sweet sauce! In Social Media Highlights, we gave a shoutout to Laura at Store 5142 in Neptune, New Jersey, for always keeping the registers clean and sanitized for safety! We also gave a shoutout to Olivia at Store 5090 in De Pere, Wisconsin. She is a new associate and is already getting the hang of the Easter merchandise. And, in a game of Did You Know?, Antonio lets us know that tying shoes is the hardest thing to teach your child. Teaching them how to whistle is a close second! Antonio also drops entertainment news, associate shoutouts and hits us with Rapid Questions. Listen now, to hear it all on this Motivational Monday.

Night Show w/ Antonio: A Graceful Return to the Water | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:23:23

It’s a No Format Friday, and Antonio is back in the studio to celebrate our associates! We kick it off with Associate Caller of the Day and friend of the show Hakeeme at Store 713 in Dade City, Florida. Hakeeme has called before, but it took him eight months to finally become our first caller! If NASA didn’t teach you yesterday, listen to Hakeeme: Perseverance pays off. In news, the frigid temperatures in Texas may finally be in retreat, but not before state employees and conservationists had to rescue thousands of turtles shocked to shore by record low temperatures. Good news though, they’re making a graceful return to the water today, just like Godzilla at the end of every good movie. We heard a great shoutout from Jerry at Store 2716 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who called in with Texas on his mind, leaving a message for associates working through brutal conditions: “We feel for them.” We sure do, Jerry. In the Social Media Highlight of the Day, we highlight Liz from Store 419 in Pratt, Kansas, for going above and beyond by helping prepare Fresh areas for customers then jumping over to other areas of the store to help however she can. Way to go, Liz! Check out all that, plus Bo’s Top 10 New Music Countdown, Friday Feud and Did You Know?

The Bo Show: What’s Bubbling Up? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:21:33

Bo and Iyube launched into this No Format Friday with a sweet and bubbly Impossible Question of the Day: What popular drink is composed of 99% water? Bo mentioned a few shows ago that he doesn’t like this beverage. Do any dedicated listeners out there remember what it is!? Dominique from Store 6233 in Charlotte, North Carolina, was the Associate Caller of the Day. She gave a shoutout to Ashley, Jess and all her front end associates. Happy Valentine’s Day to you all! Bo shared his love for action movies like “Face/Off” and “True Lies” and confessed his love for Nicolas Cage. Who doesn’t love that chiseled face?! In Milestone Minute, Bo gives Kathy from Store 884 in Shelbyville, Indiana, a shoutout for 35 glorious years. Mark, a Service Technician from Store 79 in Joplin, Missouri, also got a shoutout for 40 wonderful years! For all the plum fans out there, today is National Plum Pudding Day. Iyube is not a fan, but that doesn’t mean he won’t celebrate with you! In a game of Yes or No Way Bo!, Tiffany from Store 1985 in Laurel, Maryland, called in and played an inspired game. Our highlights include Impossible Question of the Day, associate shoutouts and learning that Iyube hates heights! Bo also offered to call anyone who’s alone on Valentine’s Day! What a mensch! Tune in now!

 Night Show w/ Antonio: There’s Still (Valen)Time! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:26:23

Antonio is looking out for the procrastinators everywhere: Valentine’s Day is Sunday, which means there’s still time to grab a gift! Don’t delay! We had a brief phone mishap, but Antonio didn’t let it kill his vibe, as he named Briana from Store 5404 in Homewood, Illinois, our official Associate Caller of the Day. She name-dropped half her store, so if you’re from 5404, you’d better listen in! Turning to news, things at HBO are worth saying “Jinkies!” over, as the TV titan announced an animated spinoff series that promises to dive deeper into the story of Scooby Doo character, Velma. What secrets await? In the Social Media Highlight of the Day, Marcos and Tim from Store 5695 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, celebrated 15 years with Walmart. Congratulations to you both! The guys play Did You Know? and wonder what the average person does in only seven minutes. Not to give too much away, but the average person is either not telling the truth or is enormously good at counting sheep. Check out all that and more on this No Format Friday!
