Have you ever felt like you were at the end of your rope, like you didn't have anything else to give? I have felt like that so much recently. In one of my most vulnerable episodes so far, I share about why I feel like I'm walking down the street naked and why I'm often feeling like I'm at the end of my own rope myself. Here are a few things I'm learning that we can do when we feel like we're at the end of ourselves.
In this interview with my buddy Thomas Coakley, we tackle how to get out of the "funk" of your life & find that fire
Is it the end or is it the beginning? Why the loss of an era does not mean the completion of our destiny. Thanks to Brian Houston's podcast series "The Power of Loss" for this great reminder.
Wow! After being a part of growing a company from 150 employees to 30,000, Betsy Sutter is an expert in creating successful cultures and helping others do the same. Don't despise the days when you feel like nobody sees you--they are often the seedbed for the skills that you will need in the next level of your life! Those days & seasons of anonymity in the “back pasture” are often training ground of skills that we will need to move forward like leadership & fearlessness. Here are 4 things David was learning in the back pasture as a shepherd that you might be learning too!
This chat is for those feeling crushed & pressed by life's pressures on every side. A real life lesson learned from Napa Valley -- the sweet thing that you find between the crushing and the "new wine." If you're feeling "crushed", get this song on repeat ASAP: "New Wine" by Hillsong Worship.

Ep 13 Words That Echo Through Time
You’ve heard it said that "familiarity breeds contempt." Here’s one huge thing we usually take for granted — probably the most important thing in our lives— & why we shouldn’t! Excerpt from Earl Nightingale’s “The Strangest Secret.”
We’ve probably all heard of the Beatitudes...but there are some conspicuous things missed from that list! Here are 5 things that we don’t need to be to consider ourselves “blessed!”
The power of laughter, making a big impact on social media through authentic engagement, hashtag advice & avoiding the "numbers" game, finding the humor and heart in life's trials, telling your story without revealing everyone else's, Roz's morning routine that shapes her attitude for the day--these are just a few of the things that my dear friend Roz Abernethy, AKA @Dear.Younger.Self has mastered and shares with us in this powerful & equipping interview!
"Hope is like the sun. If you only believe in it when you see it, you'll never make it through the night." --Princess Leah. Some of us are in the "night" season where we can't see the sun or a solution and fear wants to get a grip on us. But remember that what we see, isn't always reality! We walk by faith, not by sight! Even after the darkest night, the sun will rise again. Let hope & faith rise up in you! The book I read from was "The Giant Fish & Jonah" by Amy Lee Creel https://amzn.to/2JoI5PA
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr did it. Abraham Lincoln did it. Yes, Da Vinci did too. Here are two surprising advantages to “strategic procrastination” and how it can make your creative endeavors more effective & unique, just as it did for two of our nation's greatest speeches! Inspired by Adam Grant’s “Originals” Link to my interview on "She Walks in Truth Podcast" with Carrie Robaina. https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/051-life-builders-julie-hamilton/id1185761910?i=1000402049319&mt=2
We don’t need to stress about whether we’re reaching our “purpose” or not...this formula makes it easy. How a little gold nugget and visiting a handmade castle in Texas (Newman's Castle) reminded me of purpose! Find where your great joy meets the world's great need. It doesn't need to be "important" or Earth-shattering, just touch the lives of those around you. No matter how "simple" you think your act is, it can be profound.
The two halves of our lives are not equal because love multiplies! When I was feeling sad about turning 40, I got this revelation that completely changed my attitude towards aging and now I see it lived out with clear evidence, even in my parent's lives. Great word for parents and grandparents or anyone facing that "landmark" birthday! Today we are traveling, so I apologize in advance for the audio issues, but it is real time & real life AND you'll get to hear from my amazing mom!
