Book reading by David Kummer | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 27:40

Book reading by David Kummer This episode of The Segilola Salami Show is a Book reading by David Kummer. The book he reads from is  his book Enden: A Fantasy Novel. From today’s guest Hi all, My name is David Duane Kummer. I’m a teenager, with a couple published novels and a collection of short stories. I live in a small, river-town on the Ohio River in southern Indiana. Along with taking care of younger siblings (I have eight in total), I make time for writing in between school and sports. I’ve been writing since I was young, with As Trees Turned Away being my first published work and She being my first published novel. Along with writing, I am an avid reader and watcher of all things horror, and enjoy writing reviews on them for others who might want to know my opinion on them. When I’m not writing, I enjoy talking with my hilarious friends and amazing girlfriend, spending time with my loving family, watching movies, and working out to burn all of the calories I get from binge-eating Hawaiian Rolls. Those things are really addicting, am I right? I’d rather get paid in those than money. About Enden: A Dark Fantasy Novel (Wars of Enden Book 1) They have grown strong in the shadows, the kingdom of Oldon. The land is void of hope and of strength against them. The human kingdoms grow corrupt everyday, so that the lines between good and evil are slurred. One young man from a small village in the valley could change all of that. He fights with the passion of a warrior and the luck of a magician. And when the barbarians force him out of his home, the journey begins. Trained by a knight, shadowed with secrets, and against the kingdom he once called home, Jonathan is an outcast, a rebel. But more than anything, he is a leader. Enden is a world filled with wars, famine, sieges, torture, and death. But the greatest battle of all is to survive. Only one thing is certain. Something is rising, in the distance near the edge of the world where forgotten secrets brew. Something has risen. And it is coming. It is coming.  Book reading by Shoshanah Marohn | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 14:01

Book reading by Shoshanah Marohn On this episode of The Segilola Salami Show, author Shoshanah Marohn does a reading from chapter 10 of her book Avoiding Sex With Frenchmen. It is a most exciting book, so happy listening to this Book reading by Shoshanah Marohn. About Avoiding Sex with Frenchmen: Second Edition (with Black and White Pictures) It’s Paris like you’ve never seen it- ugly, unromantic, and hilarious. Pure as newly driven snow, three teenaged girls arrive in Paris, with little money and a large passion for art (especially art where lots of people die gruesome and terrible deaths). Immediately, they are constantly propositioned by men. Everywhere. Anything they do, men ask to have sex with them. They don’t say hello or how are you, they just ask to have sex with them. Why do the French men like them so much? What is wrong with these people who won’t let you walk ten feet without asking to have sex with you? Will the three of them even survive the trip? Sketch drawings of every Frenchman who approached them complete the hysterical telling of this ill-fated tale.   About today’s guest Today’s guest on The Segilola Salami Show is Shoshanah Marohn. Shoshanah believes that every farmhouse requires, at minimum, four cats. Any fewer, and you’re  just inviting the rats to come live with you. When not contemplating cats and rats, Shoshanah creates illustrated travel books, children’s books, and coloring books for adults. Visit her blog here.   About The Segilola Salami Show The Segilola Salami show is hosted by Segilola Salami who is also an author and a self publishing strategist. Ever wonder how to handle stress? On today’s episode of The Segilola Salami Show, guest Dr Mary Wingo talks about the genesis of stress in the western world and how to handle stress for a healthier, happier life. Listen on to find out what she has to say. About Mary Wingo Good day everyone, My name is Mary Wingo, and I am a scientist/business person living in Ecuador. I am originally from the United States, though I always felt out of place when I lived there. Ecuador is the home I have always looked for. I have my Ph.D. from University of North Texas in physiology, specifically human stress research. This field of study deeply challenged me to fully understand human adaptation. Its mechanisms requires diving in deep at all levels of biology, ecology, psychology, sociology, as well as economics and politics. When exploring my studies of how a human is stressed and faces demands for adaptation, I had to understand what was going on at the genomic and resultant protein synthesis levels. I also had to integrate these concepts into cellular, tissue, and organ functioning. To find out more about me, visit my website www.marywingo.com.
