Over the course of three separate days in mid-July, the 247Sports Rankings Council — consisting of Barton Simmons, Steve Wiltfong, Charles Power, Brandon Huffman, and Greg Biggins — convened over a Skype connection to re-rank the Top247 for the Class of 2020. When deliberations started, we were one week removed from the The Opening Finals, and the council was undertaking one of the biggest rankings overhauls it would perform all year — taking into account all information gathered on these prospects during the spring evaluation period and at The Opening.
