We take a final look back at the 2018 Big 12 college football recruiting classes and what it means for the conference. Also, we invite on HCS contributor Matthew Postins to talk Big 12 hoops. Lastly, we discuss Bill Snyder's transfer thoughts and whether or not he's missing the point as to why he's lost a few players this offseason.

Deante Gray isn't just a football player. He's with the Houston Texas organization, but is also rehabbing from an ACL injury suffered last summer. He now hosts his own podcast called The Gray Area and has great insights into not just TCU, but the landscape of college football. I caught up with former Kansas Jayhawks wide receiver Kerry Meier to talk about his sports medicine career in New York City, his favorite Mark Mangino story, along with losing the QB job before the final season at KU and what that did for his personal and professional growth.

In this week's podcast I explain why Big 12 fans are sounding like SEC football fans following the Big 12/SEC Challenge. It was great to spend a few minutes speaking with Iowa State athletic director Jamie Pollard. We chatted about Dennis Dodd's report on CBS Sports regarding potential changes to the college football transfer rule and what other tweaks could be considered. I also ask Pollard about his discussions and negotiations leading up to Matt Campbell's new contract and where Iowa State's athletic programs stand on a national level.

It was really fun to talk with former Kansas State Wildcats cornerback D.J. Reed, who is preparing in California for the 2018 NFL Draft. We talked with Reed about what his decision to declare for the draft came down to, how he chose Vayner Sports, how long he thinks Bill Snyder will coach, plus who was the toughest wide receiver he faced in college.
