This week we watched what was for some reason a childhood favorite of ours: Calamity Jane. It was far more problematic than we remembered, but there were still a few songs in it that totally slapped.
This week we rewatched 2014 Oscar contender The Imitation Game, which was... eh. It's fine. It told what I'm sure is actually a pretty boring story in as compelling a fashion as it could, but a few hacky screenwriting tricks stuck in our craw.
