Kevin and Thom opened with Maryland's stunning comeback win at Minnesota last night. The boys spent time recapping Ron Rivera's press conference yesterday at the NFL Scouting Combine. He was asked a lot about Dwayne Haskins and the Redskins' plan at quarterback. Also, Tom Brady is expected to leave New England according to Jeff Darlington/ESPN....the guys made predictions on where he lands.
Kevin had some Redskins news about their plans in free agency to start the show. He recapped Skins' VP of Player Personnel Kyle Smith's press conference from yesterday at the NFL Scouting Combine. The boys finished up with Duke's loss and the impact it could have on Maryland's NCAA Tournament seeding.
Kevin and Thom opened with the latest on Trent Williams and then got into Doug Williams' comments on Dwayne Haskins. They discussed overrated sports events in honor of this week's NFL Indy Combine. They talked more Fury-Wilder 2 and then finished with Bradley Beal's back to back 50+ pt games.
Kevin and Aaron opened with a recap of Maryland's first loss in over a month. Jeff Ermann/InsideMDSports.com joined the show to discuss. Ben Raby/Caps Radio Network was a guest on the show to talk about Alex Ovechkin's 700th career goal and the Caps' win yesterday over Pittsburgh. The boys talked Fury-Wilder 2 and Kevin considered the importance of adding a veteran wide receiver for the Redskins.
Kevin and Thom open with Thom's trip yesterday to Urgent Care. They got to the Redskins' news of the day which includes Jordan Reed's release and Quinton Dunbar once again asking for a trade or release. They discussed the all time Redskin "What Ifs". Also, what Davey Johnson told Thom about the Astros cheating scandal. Some Fury-Wilder 2 talk followed by Aaron and Kevin previewing a big college hoops weekend finished up the show.
Chris Cooley joined Kevin for an hour of the show today. They talked Bloomberg's choke debate performance and then got into a ton of Redskins' topics. The discussion included Adrian Peterson, Jordan Reed, Trent Williams, Ryan Kerrigan, and a hypothetical "if Joe Burrow is available at #2". Kevin and Aaron finished up with the potential for a new NFL Playoff format and some college hoops.
Thom joined the show by phone from Nats' Spring Training in West Palm Beach. The guys talked Astros cheating, Daytona 500 crash, along with plenty on the Redskins. Assuming Alex Smith doesn't come back, who should the Redskins add at quarterback? Mike Tomlin defended Mason Rudolph and the Terps with a game tonight to keep their Big 10 lead.
Kevin and Aaron opened with some NBA All-Star game discussion and then got quickly to Maryland's huge Saturday night win at Michigan State. Was this Turgeon's biggest win? Where does Anthony Cowan's close-out performance rank on the list of the greatest Terp finishes? Lots of Redskins talk off the news of the cuts on Friday and Kevin did a quick XFL vs NFL pace-of-play study and shared the surprising results.
Kevin opened with the news that the Redskins are releasing Josh Norman. JP Finlay/NBC Sports Washington was a guest to discuss Norman, Quinton Dunbar, Trent Williams and more. Kevin and Aaron talked about the Matthew McConaughey/Dan Snyder "Happy Thanksgiving" video. The guys finished up previewing Maryland-Michigan State.
Kevin and Thom talk about the 30th anniversary of Tyson-Douglas. They then talk about the Redskins before looking at what the QB Carousel might look like in this NFL offseason.
Kevin opens with Maryland's scare last night against Nebraska and then got to a ton of Redskins' news including reports that Trent Williams and Ron Rivera have spoken. There was news about Quinton Dunbar from Doc Walker, an NFL Draft analyst who described Chase Young's flaws, and a Sporting News opinion that Phillip Rivers and the Redskins are a good fit.
Kevin is back from Utah. Thom joined him. They talked about Quinton Dunbar's "trade or release" demand. The boys discussed ESPN's Mike Greenberg's criticism of the Redskins' handling of Dwayne Haskins. They talked XFL, MLB postseason changes, the Terps, and Phillip Rivers too.
Kevin and Thom opened with a few more SB thoughts including why Patrick Mahomes can already be considered Hall-of-Fame worthy. Ron Rivera said that he and the organization haven't talked to Trent Williams yet....why not? They theorized on why the Vegas odds-makers have installed the Redskins as the longest shot on the 2020 NFL board. Thom talked about his latest column featuring a depressing "All-Time Super Bowl" team. Todd McShay's thoughts on why Chase Young is a no-brainer for the Skins at 2 is discussed as well.
Kevin opened with a complete Super Bowl game take/recap. Chris Cooley joined him and they debated whether or not the 49ers won it or the Chiefs blew it. Kevin talked Alex Smith's appearance on ESPN's Outside the Lines where Smith admitted that he's lucky to be alive. Kevin and Aaron talked Super Bowl ads, 2020 NFL odds, and some weekend hoops as well.
Kevin opened with the Terps' win over Iowa before turning to Bradley Beal's All-Star snub. Kevin weighed in on Ron Rivera's interview with Doc Walker and Al Galdi on Team980. Super Bowl talk dominated the last part of the show. Kevin had a Smell Test pick. Aaron had a ton of prop bets to consider. Both Kevin and Aaron made Super Bowl picks.
