In this coaching call episode, I am joined by Taylor Carretti, a Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in Early Intervention, Pediatric Clinic, and Public School settings. She is also the IEP Coordinator for Los Alamos Public Schools. Taylor has some AAC experience but is eager to learn more about it and its best practices.  She also needs guidance on how to best train the staff that are working with her student and is finding ways to help her school district. On this episode I am joined by Meera Raval Deters, a board certified SLP , Telepractice Specialist, Advanced Certified Autism Specialist, and Specialist in Child Language through ASHA. Meera is also the owner of Super Speech Solutions, a concierge private practice that provides online Speech Therapy to Texans. She helps children and adults improve their speech and language skills so that they can communicate better. She has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation clinics, charter schools, and private practices over the past fourteen years.  Meera specializes in accent modification and child language disorders, with an emphasis on children who have autism.  When she is not thinking about speech, Meera loves to spend time with her husband Jeff, cook, watch Hallmark movies, and go on walks with their dog, Daisy.
