Valpo's finest is one of the best play-by-play talents in the country. We talked about how he's matured into the job and what it takes to do it right. Plus, for a kid who grew up in the Chicagoland area, calling Bulls games...a dream come true. Adam's family has a powerful immigrant story. I'm glad he shared it. 

Kerry Sayers is an athlete, who wanted to work in sports...then POOF, she leaves sports and finds another great use for her talents. The Decades TV anchor/producer and I sat down to talk about the things that drive her. 

"LB" is the host of 49ers coverage on NBC Sports Bay Area. It's kinda cool that we have the same job, considering we worked together on a national morning show for 2 years. She's a good friend and excellent on-air partner. We got together Super Bowl Week to discuss what it's like to start over in a new city. Something she did while raising a toddler and having twins. She's a super-hero.

Luke is one of the most prominent names in MMA media. His new venture with Showtime & YouTube is called "Morning Kombat" and can be heard every Monday at Noon ET. We go back a ways, so I loved picking his brain about what it's like to cover Dana White & the UFC. 

Gordon doesn't suffer fools and he never pulls punches. We talked about how to get it right when covering sports and he offers great advice for young journos. We also discuss our shared affection for the Negro Leagues. 

Phil is an incredible: actor, writer, and director. He has a great moving coming out called: "High & Outside." If you like good drama mixed with baseball movies, you're gonna love it. Phil is a Chicagoan and a huge White Sox fan. So doing this movie was a treat. He also tells a killer Nicholas Cage story. 

Michelle McMahon is a dynamic personality. It comes through in her work on Big Ten Network and her podcast: The Michelle McMahon Show (this is important for later). Along with her origin story, we talked about the downside of the business and how it can lead to paranoia and insecurity. We then flipped the episode over and she did the interviewing. It's the first House of L collaboration.  

Just two point guards from the South Side talking buckets. I didn't know he was that close to Ben Wilson. Also, he shares great Michael Jordan stories. 

He's had a long road to get to the anchor desk at NBC 5. The amount of obstacles that Siafa has overcome is pretty amazing. You'll hear about his perseverance and understand why I say he's the best dressed man in Chicago television. 

Josina is one of premier news breakers in NFL reporting. Her phone stays hot, as you'll find out in the episode. She has a very interesting back story and thrives in an area where you don't see a lot of women of color. What's that like? How do you cultivate sources? We discuss that and more...
