Episode 31a: “The Fourth Stooge (w/ Brian Harr)" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:07:37

Free Agency is in full swing, but the Super Flexible podcast is stuck in a time warp before the action began, so the guys try to exist in a world where free agency doesn’t exist, and they do so by basking in the comfort of their own rankings. Fellow Dynasty Football Factory contributor and superflex ranker Brian Harr (@DFF_Brian) joins the guys to help identify some quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers who are rising in their respective individual superflex rankings, and players who are falling. *(Check out the gang’s individual and composite superflex rankings, just click on the “superflex” tab!) Two rankers disagree on a certain free agent quarterback, but will his landing spot change anything? A couple of free agent running backs also make the list, but which way are they trending? And three running backs are falling in anticipation of a strong rookie class forcing them from their roles. Finally, the wide receiver position risers/fallers segment ends in controversy when a polarizing figure throws the dynasty value system in to disarray.  Episode 30b: “Trade Wars” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:06:09

With James “The Brain” Koutoulas in the basement for the week, Travis and John set out on a discussion about Twitter trade polls and rookie pick trade values. It’s meant to be a quick, breezy discussion on players versus picks as they analyze various trades involving rookie picks… and then the discussion starts. Right off the bat, the SuperFlex SuperFriends find a disagreement on the value of a top rookie pick and one of the league’s top young receivers. The guys also discuss trade values for Teddy Bridgewater and Nick Foles, Alvin Kamara and Kareem Hunt, future picks, late picks, picks in various scoring settings, and much, much more. But can they find anything to talk about that they actually agree on? All that and more on this week’s second episode of Super Flexible!  Episode 30a: “Take the Next Step (w/ Chris Warren III)” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 50:03

Even before the smoke clears and the dust settles from the NFL Combine, the Super Flexible gang gets a very unique perspective on the Combine… from one of it’s participants! University of Texas running back and 2018 NFL Draft prospect Chris Warren III joins the show, fresh off of an impressive performance at the Combine. Warren talks about the Combine experience and his own personal performance, his future as an NFL hopeful and some of his potential suitors, and his time at the University of Texas. He also discusses position changes, growing up in NFL locker rooms, and flipping a coin to make one of the biggest decisions of his life! All that and more, on the first of two episodes this week!  Episode 29b: “The Future Is Now” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:20:52

With the NFL Combine underway, the guys turn their mock draft attention to the incoming rookie class! In a three-team snake draft, the gang mock drafts rookies as if it’s the startup of a rookie-only superflex league, with QB-SFlex-RB-RB-WR-WR-Flex rosters. The first overall pick belongs to John – and his anti-running back philosophies – so the suspense is immediate: can he pass on the great Saquon-oh-one to take a top quarterback in this superflex league? Plus, what order do the top 5 QBs get drafted, and how early do they come off the board in a superflex? With only six quarterbacks getting drafted, a surprise name is omitted… in favor of a deep sleeper. The wide receiver position yields some sleepers too, while the deep running back class makes for some tough decisions! And the guys discuss the top talent that doesn’t make the cut in this 7-round startup mock. All that and more on this episode of Super Flexible!  Episode 29a: “Carter Donnick’s Pre-Combine Big Board (w/ Carter Donnick)” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:59

Just days before the NFL Combine, Dynasty Football Factory - Devy Team writer Carter Donnick (@CDonScounting) drops in to discuss his recently released “Pre-Combine Big Board,” and the Super Flexible gang is armed with questions! Who does Carter expect to rise up in pre-draft rankings with their Combine performances? And who will fall back down to earth? Plus, Carter’s Big Board features several surprising names at quarterback, both for their inclusions and exclusions; what should superflex players expect from the quarterback class of 2018? The wide receivers at the top of the class seem to have solid footing, but a few sleepers threaten to sneak into the consciousness of the dynasty world… including Carter’s prediction for this year’s John Ross. The running backs are deep, so what will Combine analysts like Carter look for as the little-known names try to gain visibility, and the bigger names try to shrug off preconceived notions. And EVERYONE is talking about Saquon-oh-one, but the top of the world leaves a long distance to fall; what does Barkley have left to prove in the Combine, and what – if anything – could possibly drop him from his throne? All that and more on the first of this week’s two pre-combine episodes!  Episode 28b: “Agents for the Price of FREE!” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:07:23

With free agency right around the corner, the Super Flexible gang embarks on it’s first of many unique mock drafts, this one involving ONLY players who will likely be NFL free agents. (*Note: this episode was recorded before the Miami Dolphins used their Franchise Tag on wide receiver Jarvis Landry). In this three-team snake draft, the guys draft a team consisting of a QB, two RBs, two WRs, a TE and a superflex position (and the final rosters are posted on Twitter, @SuperFlexPod!). Can the guys all put quarterbacks at their superflex positions? Kirk Cousins and Le’Veon Bell are the top two free agents, but who gets drafted first? And which wide receiver – Allen Robinson, Sammy Watkins and Jarvis Landry are the top names available – will get drafted first? The great SuperFlexible SuperFreeAgent mock analyzes the dynasty-relevant free agents in preparation for the free agency bonanza coming up in March, so get ready for the dominoes to fall. All that and more in this second Super Flexible episode of the week!  Episode 28a: “Tight Ends: The Future of Porn” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:06:06

Brought to you by GT Bets; enter the code word “SuperFlex” for your welcome bonus at GTBets.eu and get in on the action on today’s games! The gang is all back together as the “Position Dissection” comes to a merciful conclusion with the tight end position. The top 12 fantasy tight ends from 2017 present several sell-high opportunities, and the question marks begin right away: Travis Kelce may be ready to take the torch from Rob Gronkowski, but a changing quarterback situation could be cause for concern. And speaking of Gronk, what does the future hold for the best TE in the game? It sounds like he has options… The sun is setting on great careers for Jimmy Graham, Delanie Walker, Jason Witten and Benjamin Watson, but do any of them have dynasty value left as twilight sets in? One career started with a bang in 2017, but can Evan Engram continue his trajectory into the stratosphere? And out of the tasteless, colorless, odorless mass of tight ends in the 10-20 range comes a brand new and unexpected dispute between two SuperFlex SuperFriends over an underwhelming tight end in an underwhelming offense. Plus, the guys have deep tight end sleepers for the 2018 season and beyond! All that and more on this week’s first episode!  Episode 27: “WRs, Part V” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:33:52

Brought to you by GT Bets; enter the code word “SuperFlex” for your welcome bonus at GTBets.eu and get in on the action on today’s games! In the super-sized final wide receiver “Position Dissection,” Travis and James are digging DEEP for fantasy relevance on every NFL roster! After reaching the AFC Championship, who will be back for the Jacksonville Jaguars? Which tertiary option in Pittsburgh will remain relevant in this explosive offense? And who stands out in Tampa Bay opposite Mike Evans? Superstars who missed significant time in 2017 get some extra attention in this episode after failing to finish as top 36 receivers, including Odell Beckham Jr., Julian Edelman, Josh Gordon, Allen Robinson, Corey Coleman and Corey Davis. Devante Parker, Sammy Watkins, Chris Hogan Kelvin Benjamin, Jordan Matthews and Josh Doctson failed to live up to expectations, but is there still hope going forward? And breakout candidates abound, with opportunities available in Chicago, Miami, Washington, Indianapolis and the New York Jets, among others. Who should dynasty players target now before the breakout(s)? All that and more, in this extra-large, stand-alone episode of Super Flexible!  Episode 26b: “WRs, Part IV” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:17:15

Brought to you by GT Bets; enter the code word “SuperFlex” for your welcome bonus at GTBets.eu and get in on the action on today’s games! The wide receiver “Position Dissection” begins scraping the bottom of the barrel as James and Travis discuss the WR3/FLEX range players, where value runs rampant… in some cases. The episode starts with TY Hilton, whose value seems to be tied to quarterback Andrew Luck. Can Luck get healthy and restore Hilton’s fantasy prowess? And if Luck is still injured, can Hilton find his way back into the top 10 of dynasty receivers? Kenny Stills, Mohammed Sanu and Ted Ginn seem right at home in the 28-35 range, but is there still hidden value in these secondary options in their respective offenses? The rest of the receivers are on the table for discussion though, with Marquise Goodwin and Robert Woods looking to build on their breakout seasons, Jamison Crowder stepping into a bigger role with a new quarterback, Randall Cobb and Michael Crabtree moving on… and a HEATED debate over Amari Cooper’s ability to bounce back! All that and more on this week’s second episode!  Episode 26a: “WRs, Part III” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 56:16

Brought to you by GT Bets; enter the code word “SuperFlex” for your welcome bonus at GTBets.eu and get in on the action on today’s games! The inmates are running the asylum! Travis and James have free reign with John in the basement for the week, and they’ve got some interesting wide receivers to analyze as the “Position Dissection” rolls on. Mike Evans was a top 2 dynasty ASSET going into 2017, but after a decent start to the season, he fizzled and was abysmal in the second half of the season; did “The Brain” and “The Beard” jump off the bandwagon along with the majority of dynasty owners? Robby Anderson experienced a breakout season, but nine offseason charges of (allegedly) resisting arrest have dynasty owners wondering about his availability… and his overall value. Fantasy stars Stefon Diggs and Alshon Jeffrey shined brightest on the grand stage of the NFC playoffs – Diggs with the Minnesota Miracle and Jeffrey with a champion’s performance in the Super Bowl – but what is the outlook going forward, with quarterback changes likely coming and loaded receiving corps in both offenses? Plus, Devin Funchess settles into the lead receiving option role, Nelson Agholor is the perfect sidekick in a quest to repeat, JuJu is ready for takeoff into the stratosphere and beyond, and Dez Bryant faces an offseason of uncertainty. All that and more on the first of two episodes this week! Special thanks to Heart and Soul Radio for their song, “The Addiction,” and special thanks to the Dynasty Football Network, the Dynasty Football Factory, and the entire #DFFArmy.  Episode 25b: “WRs, Part II” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 56:17

The dissection of the wide receiver position continues, as Travis and John explore the rest of the top 16 fantasy performers in 2017, from Adam Thielen to Demaryius Thomas. Thielen seems to have emerged as a top fantasy asset, but can he sustain the production as the Vikings prepare to change quarterbacks? And Thomas also awaits a quarterback change, but his own uncertainties may overshadow his quarterback anyways. Tyreek Hill already knows who his new quarterback will be, there’s just disagreement among the SuperFlex SuperFriends as to the affect Pat Mahomes (and other offensive changes) will have on Hill. Plus, A.J. Green has a down (yet relatively healthy) year, and turns 30 before the 2018 season; is “The Cliff” on the horizon? And two teammates finish 11th and 12th, who is more likely to repeat in 2018? Davante Adams has a new contract that may make him the last man standing in Aaron Rodgers’ offense, so how high does Adams need to be ranked? And a comparison is made between Brandin Cooks and Doug Baldwin; can either one escape their stigmas? All that and more on this week’s second episode! Special thanks to Heart and Soul Radio for their song, “The Addiction,” and special thanks to the Dynasty Football Network, the Dynasty Football Factory, and the entire #DFFArmy.  Episode 25a: “WRs, Part I” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 57:47

“The Beard” is back, “The Brain” is shut down for the week, and the “Position Dissection” rolls on as the guys tackle the wide receiver position. Travis and John are talking about the Top 7 wide receivers in 2017 fantasy, with some familiar, trustworthy faces… and a couple stowaways. Antonio Brown has been rock solid for years, but at 30-years old and with a 36-year old quarterback, how much longer can we count on AB? And how does he stack up against DeAndre Hopkins after another breakout season by the 25-year old phenom? The tale of the tape is all about consistency versus upside as the gang puts two of the top dynasty assets under the microscope together. Plus, Larry Fitzgerald fights Father Time, Keenan Allen fights an undeserved reputation, Jarvis Landry tries to fight off a stigma that won’t go away, Julio Jones fights to stay relevant, and Michael Thomas fights for an elusive spotlight, where he officially belongs. But the WR battles can’t begin until Travis gets some thoughts off his chest, after missing an entire week and the end of the running back discussion. “The Beard” takes issue with thoughts on Derrick Henry, Jordan Howard and Ezekiel Elliott; can he bring John into the light and show him the flaws in his thinking? He’s certainly willing to try! All that and more on this episode of Super Flexible! Special thanks to Heart and Soul Radio for their song, “The Addiction,” and special thanks to the Dynasty Football Network, the Dynasty Football Factory, and the entire #DFFArmy.  Episode 24b: “RBs, Part III” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:19:16

In this super-sized episode, James and John wrap up the “Position Dissection” of the running back position by touching on the rest of the fantasy starting RBs, and touching on virtually every relevant running back otherwise. From seemingly predictable depth charts in Tennessee and Houston and the high expectations of their young backs, to the jumbled committees in Seattle, Green Bay, Washington and Baltimore. What will free agency do to change the situations for the Patriots and Giants? What will the draft do to muddy the waters in Indianapolis, Miami and Pittsburgh? Plus, outlooks for the Falcons’ dynamic duo of Freeman and Coleman, the Eagles’ one-two punch of Ajayi and Clement, and returning stars David Johnson and Dalvin Cook. The guys even talk rookie running backs, with surprisingly close rankings at the top of the draft, late round sleepers, and an unexpected prediction on a landing spot for all-world rookie Saquon Barkley! All that and more on this week’s second episode, the third part in the “Position Dissection” series on running backs. Special thanks to Heart and Soul Radio for their song, “The Addiction,” and special thanks to the Dynasty Football Network, the Dynasty Football Factory, and the entire #DFFArmy. Follow the podcast on Twitter, @SuperFlexPod!

 Episode 24a: “RBs, Part II” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 50:42

Minus one conspicuous Beard, James and John are back to continue the position dissection, and the topic of discussion are the low-ed RB1s from the 2017 season. LeSean McCoy turned in yet another great season, and did it in a whole new way; can fantasy players reasonably expect a continuation in 2018? Ezekiel Elliott finally put the suspension drama behind him and prepares for a full season in 2018, but the guys still have reservations about one of the league’s elite RBs. Two pass-catching backs try to carve out roles in their respective offenses with new coordinators calling the plays… and picking new early-down backs. Plus, Leonard Fournette’s ankles, Devonta Freeman’s head, Jordan Howard’s hands and Carlos Hyde’s coaches are cause for concern, but what would it take for them to maintain their dynasty values… and who benefits it they don’t? All that and more on this week’s first episode, second in the three-part series! Special thanks to Heart and Soul Radio for their song, “The Addiction,” and special thanks to the Dynasty Football Network, the Dynasty Football Factory, and the entire #DFFArmy. Follow the podcast on Twitter, @SuperFlexPod!

 Episode 23a: “RBs, Part I” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 54:13

The 2017 “Position Dissection” shifts from the signal-callers to the workhorses as the gang takes on the running backs in this first of a four-part series! Starting with the top 6 fantasy scoring running backs in 2017, the guys are discussing future outlooks and action items for dynasty owners. Is Todd Gurley the number one asset in all of dynasty? Where will Le’Veon Bell land, and what does it do for his future? Which rookie runner has the brightest future? And one SuperFlexible SuperFriend has a controversial idea as the #ChurnRBs movement is born… Sell them! Sell all of them! Well, all but one… and the one “elite” back he’s holding isn’t as “elite” to the rest of the world. Get ready for some shocking revelations on everyone’s favorite fantasy football position, the mighty, mighty running backs! All that and more on this week’s episode! Special thanks to Heart and Soul Radio for their song, “The Addiction,” and special thanks to the Dynasty Football Network, the Dynasty Football Factory, and the entire #DFFArmy.
