Full disclosure, this episode was recorded before the Kawhi Leonard news came out but that doesn't make it any less exciting! The guys hypothesize both scenarios... Kawhi coming to the Lakers and Kawhi not coming to the Lakers, plus the all around general circus surrounding the announcement. They also discuss the US Women's National Team and the World Cup. Plus Chevy released a new version of the Blazer and Ben is pissed about it! Also, here's a drinking game idea... do a shot every time Ben gives an inappropriate tribute to the dearly departed. Hope you're not driving!

With the 4th of July right around the corner, the guys thought it'd be a good time to take a look back at performances of our country's national anthem and rank their favorites! The guys also discuss their thoughts on the anthem protests and why they still feel, in spite of everything that's wrong with it, the USA is the greatest country in the world! And if that's a little too deep for you, they also revisit the Celebrity Octagon bracket from last week and give the definitive answer on who would win in a fight between The Rock and Jackie Chan! MERICA!!!

It was a huge week for LA sports as we welcome yet another big name star to the family. The Lakers made a blockbuster trade with the New Orleans Pelicans for Anthony Davis! The guys discuss what it means for the team. They also speculate on the rumors that the Lakers aren't done making moves. Also, a few weeks ago the guys asked on Twitter to give us the best taco in LA. There are some great answers and the guys discuss them. Plus, Darren is back and brought with him a game of Celebrity Octagon! Yes, it is as awesome as it sounds!

The guys are on location at Dignity Health Sports Park Track and Field Stadium for the Galaxy vs OCFC US Cup and more importantly, for Eric "The Portuguese Hammer" Vieira's birthday! Joining in on the fun is James Whitlock and Jordan Heckman from The Kings Realm. In true Guys In Shorts fashion, the gang grill Hammer on his background and why everyone loves him so darn much! They also discuss all the latest Anthony Davis trade rumors. Plus, Hammer gives one of his patented Galaxy updates!

To help the guys do it, they are joined by the man responsible, Ben's dad Armando Garcia! Armando gives us some background on Ben as well as gives his thoughts on many of Ben's "controversial" takes. Plus it wouldn't be a birthday show without a round of the Birthday Game! The guys sure hope so. All that and the debut of a new segment called "Debate Club." It's an excuse to pit Vic and Ben against one another, but this time with a twist!

This week the guys discuss Magic's appearance on First Take. You know, the one where he aired out all his dirty laundry with the Lakers! The series finale of Game of Thrones finally aired and the guys have thoughts. They also discuss their favorite series finales of all time plus the show they wish had gone on longer and the ones that maybe wore out their welcome. All that plus, arguing over stupid stuff and a high school track star who challenged a professional athlete, aka Ben's spirit animal.

It's Darren's birthday and that sounds like reason enough to celebrate! The guys invite a very special guest in studio to help in getting to know our spiky haired Asian/German friend better. The guys are challenged to a game of millennial trivia and proves what we already know... they're old! Other reasons to celebrate, the Lakers defied the odds and got the number four pick in the draft, they finally have a head coach and Game of Thrones is finally coming to an end! We can finally get back to our lives! Happy Birthday, Darren!

This week marks the start of summer movie season as The Avengers: Endgame opens to sold out crowds all over the country! The guys discuss all the big movies their excited to see over the next few months! The Clippers are still in the playoffs and it would be rude to not mention that and how far they've come. Plus, the guys discuss the Luke Walton sexual assault scandal. If you listened to last week's show you know the guys committed to writing poems. Well, they did just that and they actually didn't turn out completely terrible!

After going M.I.A. last week, the guys are back! They explain themselves and give some lame excuses why they were a no show. They also discuss Magic and Luke Walton's parting of ways with the Lakers and the direction the team is going. Vic, talks about everyone's favorite obsession, Game of Thrones... that is, everyone except Ben and Jeff. Darren brings in a new game called "5 Second Rule." Plus the guys get a big dose of much needed culture when Mike "The Poet" calls in to talk about his new book and growing up in Los Angeles.

This week the guys get a call from competitive marathon runner Marquise Bowden! Marquise discusses his recent running of the LA Marathon and what it takes to run 26 miles straight! The guys also discuss the rough start for the Angels and hot start for the Dodgers. They also talk about all the rewards and pitfalls of coaching youth sports. It's MLB Opening Day! To celebrate the guys are joined by public address announcer for the Angles and Galaxy, Michael Araujo! The guys discuss the upcoming 2019 baseball season and give their thoughts and expectations. The Galaxy got their season underway and Michael gives his thoughts. The guys take a moment to mourn the likely loss of the beloved Big Baller brand. Michael talks about a new app he's working with called BallparkDJ and the guys couldn't be more excited when Michael agrees to do a few impromptu announcements. It's not to be missed!

It's official! Mike Trout will be an Angel for a long, LONG time as he pens a historic deal with the Halos. The guys break it down and give their thoughts. They also give their grades on other deals made this past week including Antonio Brown and Vontaze Burfict to the Raiders and Blake Bortles and Clay Matthews to the Rams. Plus, the Raiders won a major award! ...by "major" we mean, no one's ever heard of it and even the Raiders didn't think it was a real thing. Nevertheless, it's something for Ben to be proud of!
