It's the return of the Birthday Show! This time, it's Victor's B'day and to celebrate the guys welcome a very special guest from Victor's life! As is now tradition the the guys dedicate a show to getting to know the birthday boy a lot better. Also, the guys discuss the commitment to the podcast and its affect on their home lives. All that plus, all the latest on those filthy, cheating Astros!

After taking a week off, the guys are back with tons to talk about! The Dodgers made a huge splash by trading for Mookie Betts and David Price. The Angels tried to make a move by acquiring Joc Pederson, until Arte Moreno threw a temper tantrum. Speaking of trades, the Clippers made a big move in the right direction by picking up Marcus Morris from the Knicks. And the Lakers... well, the Lakers made no moves but that won't keep the guys from talking about them anyway! All that plus the moderately anticipated XFL launched to decent ratings and better than average reviews. Could this be the football league we're looking for? Tune in and find out!

In light of the untimely passing of Kobe Bryant, we thought it'd be a good opportunity to look back to episode 7 of Guys In Shorts, when Kobe retired. That episode we dedicated to the Mamba with favorite moments of his career, stories from his time with the purple and gold and some of the incredible stats that he posted. We re-released this episode once before a year ago and recorded an intro that has elements that are quite a bit dated. We kept this in because what isn't dated is the love and praised heaped onto the legend himself, Kobe.

This week the guys discuss the tragic loss of Kobe Bryant. They talk about his legacy and what Kobe means to the world. There has been an outpouring of love and support from people across the globe. They start the year off strong with discussions on the Lakers hot season, the Rams not hot season and the latest news that the yet another team prevented the Dodgers from winning a World Series due to cheating. The guys get together one last time before the holidays to look back on the past year and decade as we close out 2019. Although it isn't quite what it once was with both teams not exactly being relevant, the guys discuss the current state of the Trojans and Bruins. In light of the end of the baseball season, the guys give their thoughts on what team will win LA its next championship. Also, we're halfway through the football season, and more importantly, the fantasy football season. That sparked the discussion on what are the parameters for setting up the perfect fantasy football league.
