When Staci Frenes learned her teenage daughter was gay, she found her dreams for the future—along with her lifelong faith—collapsing around her. We are joined by Candice Czubernat, founder of the nation's premiere LGBTQ telehealth organization, The Christian Closet (thechristiancloset.com) Candice became a dear friend of ours when (among other things) she visited Sojourn Grace years ago, was a brilliant guest speaker, and challenged us as leaders to be MORE clear about just how open and affirming our faith community is. And she was/is RIGHT! That sort of clarity is desperately needed.
