It's time for another episode of Rated G for Gamers. Some good news stories this week: Bungie leaves Activision and takes it's IP with them, Mortal Kombat 11 gets it's cover art revealed and both Amazon and Verizon are rumored to be working on their own game streaming services. Dan has a good week of pickups, Dave waxes on his thoughts on the Resident Evil 2 demo that just dropped and for the first time in a while, the duo gets into what they've been playing at the top of the show.

The Soulja Game console by Soulja Boy is no more. The rap star most famous for his hit Superman, got some choice words from Nintendo and has ceased selling his branded consoles. Rated G discusses this inevitable outcome. Also in the news, wrestling commentator Mean Jean Okerlund passes on to great squared circle in the sky, Nintendo officially comments on the Bowsette meme making the rounds on the internet and Jack Black starts his own channel for gaming and already has 2 million subscribers.

Episode 145 - 2018: A Year in Review

It's that time of year again folks! The end of 2018 and the time for Rated G's game of the year nominees. Dave and Dan pick their 5 favorite games each and on the first show of the new year, we will announce our winner. Also, can the Order 1886 garner a 4th game of the year nod? Listen to find out. In the news, COO of Riot Games suspended from sexual harassment allegations, Reggie Fils-Amie tows the company line and dismisses a Switch Pro in the works and the NES and SNES Classic are being discontinued.

The Game Awards promises some big announcements this Thursday. We get hype for what's coming. GameStop is in more financial trouble amid huge reported losses and lootbox controversary comes to the American government. Also, the duo rundown some epic pickups this week and discuss Dan's theory of a Marvel TV universe on the Disney streaming network.

Rated G is back from vacation and feeling good. Lots of Thanksgiving leftovers, quality game time and Black Friday pickups. In the news the duo talk about yet another game award show that popped up seemingly out of nowhere, Billy Mitchell and his new Donkey Kong record and Cliffy B swears off game development. Sony's been causing quite a stir this past week. They drop out of their own Playstation Experience and now E3 2019. Rated G speculates on what this all means. Square-Enix revealed to be working on a new AAA title, Nintendo confirms that the N64 Classic isn't coming any time soon and the PC Classic Kickstarter is live all in the news. Castlevania season 2, the Witcher series news and a possible new Bad Boys movie in the works.

The biggest game in a long while has finally released. They get deep into Red Dead Redemption II. Our thoughts as well as a full Review Round Up. Amid the Rockstar controversy, Eurogamer publishes an poignant article, "The Human Cost of Red Dead II". They break down all of that info too.
