 Episode 47 – Herb Dierks – Founder of HDPhotoHub | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:41:16

This week we speak with Herb Dierks. After spending years working with Tour Factory, Herb set out to create a new system for real estate photographers to showing their work and enhance not only their own marketing, but marketing for the agents as well.  Herb created HDPhotoHub as the solution.  HDPhotoHub allows photographers to create galleries, custom property websites, marketing material for agents, accept payment and more, all within their individual platform.   Agents can also get.a custom login to each property listing as a central “hub” to download and store all of their marketing assets. The best part is these custom property websites can be purchased as low at $10 each (with purchasing larger package) but the point it it is extremely affordable.  They also offer a download only gallery option for only $3 which is an incredible option for photographers who want to offer their agents something a little nicer then a dropbox link. Also listen towards the end of the episode for the coupon code, where Herb offers all of our listeners their very first property listing website absolutely FREE. We are always trying to have guests on that offer services and platforms to the real estate photography industry and HDPhotoHub doesn’t dissapoint.

 Episode 44 – Live From Photo Plus Expo 2018 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:43:41

This weeks episode is quite unique compared to anything we’ve ever done before. As most of you know, last week was the Photo Plus Expo in New York City.  Brian, being from NY, was heading over there so we decided to try and bring some insight from some companies that real estate and architectural photographers can benefit from.  Brian only had about two hours to walk the trade show floor and not only explore new opportunities for his own business, but also bring some quality information to our listeners. Brian was able to walk around and speak with four different companies that offer products that real estate photographers might be able to utilize now or in the future, once released.  He was able to record these conversations with these companies, to bring you some on location interviews. Rich and Brian then discuss these products and potential benefits in our industry. This is a great listen for anyone interested in finding about some select companied that offer products to our industry. Below are the companies Brian spoke with: Palette Gear GeoCV V-Flat World      – – –       Use Coupon Code: VFWPPE2019 at checkout for $15 off your order. Gnarbox

The guys jump into the history of how the idea of the CamRanger came about as well as talking briefly about the much anticipated CamRanger 2 and the recently released CamRanger Mini. We are truly thankful that Dave was able to give us some time as he prepares to head to New York  for Photo Plus.  A great listen and if you don’t have one yet, get on it!

Episode 39 – Guest Host: Sam Chen – New Drones and Mirrorless Camera Releases | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:44:50

This week we were privileged to have a guest co-host because Rich couldn’t make it and we strive to deliver consistent episodes. Sam Chen from Aloha Photo Video has been on the show twice before  so it was easy for him to fill in.  Being that Brian and Sam are both licensed drone operators, they started talking drones and the new releases by DJI. Sam already owns the new Mavic 2 Pro and loves it.  They then went into the new LAANC system which allows operators to get instant approval to fly in restricted airspace. This is a game changer for any drone operator. You can also find some more info on LAANC here: https://www.faa.gov/uas/programs_partnerships/uas_data_exchange/ Lastly, the guys talked briefly about the new Nikon, Canon and soon to be Panasonic cameras being announced and the trend of shifting to mirrorless. Great listen and we truly thank Sam for filling in.
