In Ten // No Other Gods, Pastor Jimmy speaks on the first commandment - no other gods. The first part of the message gives a vision for why we need to follow the Ten Commandments and meditate on them as a regular practice in our life. The second part of the message is all about "no other gods." A god is something that you place your trust in to take care of you and protect you.

In Part 1 of Ten, Pastor Rob gives an introduction to the new summer series. The commandments were not given by an angry God, who was demanding obedience, but rather they were given by a God who was inviting the nation of Israel into a relationship with Himself. Before He gave a single law or commandment, He chose, delivered, and saved the nation of Israel. He gives us the commandments not for His own benefit, but for ours.

In the final part of Miracles, Pastor Rob covers Jesus' first-ever public miracle of turning water into wine. In this culture, running out of wine at a wedding would surely lead to public ridicule of the bride and groom and while the miracle was a public sign, Jesus was pointing to a much deeper truth - when He would become poured out wine for us. This whole story points to the ultimate wedding ceremony that is coming one day. It will be the ceremony of ceremonies, the union of unions, the wedding of weddings...and what a joy it will be!

In Miracles // Walking On Water, Pastor Rob talks about the miracle of Peter walking on water with Jesus during the storm. We spend so much of our lives trying to take control or protect ourselves from unpredictable storms. So much so, if we’re not careful, we can find ourselves frantic, panicked, absolutely filled with fear about what we can’t see coming. Jesus Christ came, not that we might avoid the storms of life, but so that when the storms come, that we might learn to trust in Him.

In Miracles // Come Forth!, Pastor Rob speaks on the miracle of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. While this is perhaps the most well-known of Jesus' miracles, it is also equally confusing as Jesus delays His going to Lazarus and then tells the disciples that for their sake, He's glad he wasn't there to heal Lazarus. But He knew a great miracle was coming and it is through the raising of Lazarus that Jesus signed His own death certificate. Yet, through Jesus' death, death has been defeated for every person who puts their faith in Jesus Christ.

Founding Pastor, Steve Berger, returns to the pulpit to continue our Miracles series by talking through the miracle of Jesus calming the storm. He gives us seven strategies for surviving life's storms: 1) Understanding there's no guarantee of storm-free living, 2) You must take Him as He is, 3) Jesus sleeping is His confidence in Himself, not His lack of care for us, 4) Cries awaken Him more than the storm does, 5) Knowing this storm shall pass, 6) Waiting for an increase of His Power to be revealed to us, and 7) Us to be used to stop other people's storms.

In Miracles // The Miracle of Baptism, Pastor Rob teaches on the substance, significance, and sacrament of baptism. The sacrament of baptism is an extremely profound, crucial act of obedience for every follower of Jesus with tremendous significance and meaning. Following his message, we baptize nearly 30 people between the two services and celebrate how God has made all things new in each person’s life.

In Miracles // Blessed & Broken, Pastor Rob covers a very famous miracle story of Jesus in the feeding of the five thousand. The application for us is that our greatest ministry will always come out of our deepest wounds and our greatest contribution to the world will always come out of the depths of our brokenness. If we'll surrender to the breaking, the miracle of multiplication is waiting on the other side.

If you see the miracle of healing or the miracle of salvation and stop there, you will miss out on the most profound and dangerous adventure with God. Pastor Jimmy speaks on the healing of the blind man in John 9 and two types of blindness – blindness of the natural and blindness to the spiritual. When we come face to face with Jesus— when we see Him for Who He is— we can face the world and ourselves honestly. When we truly see Jesus, we can fall at His feet and worship the only One Who can teach us how to see.

One of the big questions many of us have when we think of miracles is why God says “Yes” to some miracles and “No” to others? Despite your best efforts, your fervent prayers, and your pleadings with a God who is supposed to be good and powerful, He doesn’t come through the way you so desperately wanted Him to. What we learn through Pastor Rob's sermon is that sometimes God’s no to something we desperately want means a yes to what we desperately need. He wants you to know that He didn’t say “no” to that thing you so desperately wanted Him to do because He doesn’t care, but because He’s doing something bigger. He came so that you wouldn’t perish, but have everlasting life. Resurrection life.

On Palm Sunday 2021, Grace Chapel's Founding Pastor, Steve Berger, returns to the pulpit to bring a word on the miraculous timing surrounding the events of Palm Sunday. We see that Jesus, the long-awaited Messiah of the world entered Jerusalem on a donkey, and for the first time allowed Himself to be publicly recognized and worshipped as the Messiah on the exact day it was prophesized in Daniel 9. 

Miracles // Take Up Your Bed is a journey through the story of the man lying at the pool of Bethesda - a man who has been lame for 38 years! Jesus asks him a seemingly obvious question, "Do you want to be healed?" and the man responds with excuses. What happens to many of us is we get comfortable in our infirmities and we don’t actually want to put in the effort that would be required to get better – oftentimes the pain of recovery is worse than the pain of the thing that put us in the situation we’re making excuses about and blaming other people for. For some, we need to make the effort of "taking up our mat and walking" and for others, God may not change your circumstance, but wants to change you in the midst of it!

In Miracles // Help My Unbelief, Pastor Rob unpacks a story in Mark 9 that highlights the wrestle between faith and doubt - it is the story of the father who brings his son to the disciples, who cannot cast out the demon who is possessing and causing this boy seizures and muteness. What we learn is that the prerequisite for a miracle is an impossible situation and that anything is possible to him who believes. If you find yourself in an impossible situation today, you are in the perfect position for God to break into your life with a miracle!

Pastor Dave Buehring brings a great word on being a disciple-maker in whatever vocation God has called you to. Pastor Dave just released a new book, The Great Opportunity, which takes us beyond the knowledge that our faith should impact our work and shows us how and why to make disciples among those who share the same vocation.

In the final part of Anchored: The Apostles' Creed, Pastor Rob speaks on the resurrection of our body and the life everlasting that is awaiting us in Heaven. All of our deepest longings will be fulfilled and all of our deepest sorrows will be swallowed up by LIFE itself. Christianity is the only religion that says through our death and subsequent resurrection, we are given the physical and spiritual in perfect harmony with one another forever.
